Lock is heavy enough to deter most attacks, would be sturdy enough to make the clasp a more viable option for thieves.Now for the downside, the lock is to wide to lock the container we bought it for, and I got a couple of metal splinters from the rough construction.They were about what I would expect to pay for this kind of thing, on the whole value for money.

After receiving my first lock I had to return it to Amazon because there were ‘no keys’ inside the box!The second lock arrived quickly. It’s very solid and well-made. Having 5 keys was really useful. As its primary function is for use on a container it fits well behind a boxed-in hasp. This makes it more difficult to access without a key. Personally I’m very happy with this lock.

Purchased this padlock less than a month ago, since when it has been unlocked 3 times. It's a good sturdy lock, but the quality is atrocious, as, on the 3rd occasion, the lock had rusted already - both the keyhole and the bar, such that I was unable to unlock it. Managed to get the key in, but the bar didn't spring back far enough to remove the padlock, so had to find a strong man, who poked something through the hasp to push the bar back using brute force. Hardly what one would expect from a padlock costing £23 and I would advise not giving it house room!
