It looks cool, but the head is small and not attached to the hanger. The hanger twists and bends with the weight of a full faced helmet. 6 months and it fell off of the wall and my helmet tumbled to the floor. And the skull shattered. Not sturdy enough for an expensive helmet.

BUYER BEWARE; MISLEADING:1) Head is the size of a softball2) Rod DOES NOT connect to head; you must fabricate something to connect it yourself. The hole shown at the base of the head is much larger than the rod and is not threaded.3) Rod too small/thin/weak for mounting a helmet. If you do decide to use this as a mount, I strongly recommend making your own rod/mount.The pictures of it look cool and it's cheap, but I would rather spend a little extra for a functioning helmet mount of this style instead this one, which doesn’t serve it’s purpose.

Product arrived quite quickly despite the holiday season (that's what the 3 stars is basically for). However, it is disappointingly small. I have a few helmets, tried them all. They all dangle on it too loosely, looks silly and cheap. Comparatively speaking, it's about the size of a softball.

I purchased two of these and am looking for four total.Seems to be of good quality, fast and carefully shipped. As for its intended use, I’ve used life-sized Halloween skulls in the past to maintain my military and motorcycle helmets, this is much smaller and will not fill up the facial area of the helmet when mounted. It’s a great design but will not be my permanent skull as I will look for other options.The mount is a hollow 3/8 piping that seems to be sturdy enough if mounted correctly. I cannot attest to the weight the mount itself will hold. It will definitely NOT hold a 20+ lb body armor for long as I believe it will eventually bend.

I bought this to hang my motorcycle helmet on, perfect.

If my husband wasn’t standing there to catch it as soon as he put his helmet on it he would have lost his new $600 helmet due to shoddy welding and metal material. It instantly bent and snapped on both the initial purchase as well as the replacement. Not worth the buy. I’ll go get him regular ones for half the price. The only decent part was the skull but my husband can 3D print that for less than a quarter of what I paid for this. Really disappointed.

I love the look. I have had three of these. The first one had the mounting bracket welded backward and could not be used. The second had the bracket put together correctly, but head only sat on the bracket, there was no actual attachment. Every time I took the helmet off of it, the head fell off. I just received a third (thanks, but I never wanted it). This one had a different mounting bracket that screws into the head. I guess it is a better design, but I first purchased this several months ago. I have already secured a really cool 3D printed replacement and I am way outside of the return window. This one went in the trash the same day it arrived.
