zero noise
As a family with young children, safe storage of firearms is vital. I chose this safe for its fingerprint recognition and low noise characteristics. The fingerprint unlock is fast and quiet, so it won't scare the kids or draw unwanted attention to them. What's more, the low noise level means that even if you need to access it while your children are sleeping, you won't disturb them.

Worked as Expected
The media could not be loaded. Figured it would help shoppers to see a video not produced in sterile environment from the manufacturer.Saw the mixed reviews, but there were more than bad, so I decided to give it a shot. Needed to buy two of these to meet my storage/access requirements.Saw a lot of bad reviews about the fingerprint sensor, so thought a video showing the programming and subsequent execution of a biometric opening might be helpful for the community.I will caveat by saying that one safe did seem a bit more finicky than the other. First safe was nothing short of flawless. Entered two fingerprints and immediately opened safe multiple times with both prints. The second safe programmed as expected, but I had to make several attempts to open. Don't know if maybe my finger was getting deformed by pushing the program button, so I cleared out the fingerprints (hold program button until fingerprint pad turns green), gave my fingers time to normalize, then (as you can see in the video), I pushed the program button with one finger and but programmed the opposite finger. To program:1. Push program button in safe for 3 seconds until blue lights flash twice (they will beep too, but I turned off audio alerts [hold #1 button until lights flash blue]).2. Tap and lift finger 6x (slightly adjusting finger position). Based on what I've experienced so far with this safe, this "adjusting" is like you would do for programming an iPhone, but don't adjust quite as much... too much adjusting seems to make it less likely to register fingerprint.3. You can see that one of my taps didn't take (no flash of blue lights). Not sure if this is an example of the more finicky nature of this particular safe, but regardless, I still had six successful taps (finger pad blinks green), and safe opened immediately afterward as expected.Final assessment: Safe feels very sturdy. Maybe it won't keep out a determined criminal with tools (and time), but it will surely keep out the prying hands of any visiting children (the reason I got them), and safe successfully opened through all means it's supposed to (code, biometric, and key).Don't have a lot of time with safe yet, but as of first use, I would recommend this safe

Great
The media could not be loaded. This gun safe works pretty good. The silent mode itself is awesome but the buttons are a bit annoyingly clicky, although I’ll probably going to use the fingerprint most of the time. Programming was simple and easily understood all thanks to big font manual. The exterior battery slot is a definite improvement over their previous model. Overall, this is a very nice and sturdy gun safe that doesn’t cost half grand.

safe and quick
The fingerprint recognition feature of this pistol safe is so sensitive that it opens at the touch of a button, which greatly improves the speed of gun retrieval. At the same time, the low noise design allows me to remove my weapon silently in an emergency, which is very practical!

Finger Print Scanner Sucks
I've had this product for about 7 months now and I've tried to give it time and a decent opportunity to meet my expectations. However, it has not met the mark. I did not purchase this to be a daily use gun safe, as I wanted it to store my Glock and serve as a quick access tool next to my bed.The concept of this biometric safe is great. I was able to mount it to the side of my nightstand with ease. The thought of being able to quickly access my sidearm in the middle of the night, with ease, seemed like the perfect match for this safe. However, the finger print scanner seems to give little effort into reading your actual print. After having it installed and not having to use it for a while, I decided to make sure it would recognize my print and allow me quick access from my bed. It immediately gave me a failed validation (red beeping) before I fully pressed my thumb on the scanner. After attempting to quickly try a few more times, it locked and delayed any opening (manual says it locks from tampering for 5 minutes). During this time, it also wouldn't accept the pin code I assigned. Luckily, I wasn't in a serious situation at the time, otherwise, I probably wouldn't have been able to defend myself (unless a burglar gave me 5 minutes). It seems like the fingerprint scanner definitely doesn't work as good as the one on your cellphone. You'd probably need to have a perfectly clean hand and line it up exactly as you did when you stored the print. My final thoughts:If you are looking for something that will work in an emergency situation, I would not recommend this product as it just isn't reliable from a quick access standpoint. Just spend a little more money on a product that put a little more money into the quality of the function.
