I recently had major shoulder surgery and was not able to keep up with my shaded silver Persian. He was getting knots in his hair. I used the product and I am amazed that I don’t have to have him shaved. This stuff is amazing!!!

This works beautifully on tangles; even very bad matting. Angora purrs when I apply it. The scent is one that both Angora and I like. Know that on bad mattings, though, this is not a miracle-worker, so that you still have to very carefully work the tangle out with your fingers, and may have to reapply this several times. Nonetheless, I give it five stars because with patience, and willingness to gradually work out badly matted fur with your fingers, this works wonders. Even before I start to untangle, I think it provides relief to Angora's skin where the matt is. I spray it onto my hands and then apply: Spraying it on directly is problematic, because if Angora moves I'm worried about spraying it too close to her head. Also, the pump is a little unwieldy in that it's hard to hold with one hand and pump at the same time. But despite that, I will be purchasing this again.

patience is required. My Jambalaya acquired suddenly a half dozen mats in her bib fur and I've been working on getting 'em out - 4 gone, 2 to go. Most all of these products come in spray bottles and cats hate spray bottles so I spray it on a square cosmetic cotton pad and apply that way. She only puts up with this process for a short time, but even after the product has dried, the fur is still a bit easier to untangle.

My cat Hamlet is a long hair with a double coat. She gets big clumps near her rump, and doesn’t really like brushing. I used this spray as soon as it came in and got four large clumps out, after letting the spray sit for about a half hour. What a difference! I recommend it without reservation!

Well just opened the box the spray came in and tried to spray it and absolutely nothing came out... thought they would have figured this out after reading all of the other reviews about this issue... transefed it to another spray bottle I had and sprayed it on my cat... tried brushing for a bit then started to use my fingers to try and get the tangles out.. spray did absolutely nothing to help the situation... let it sit for half hour spayed a little bit more and tried again.. nothing but a wet cat at this point... I would have been better off using wd40 on her .(just kidding).. but in all reality this stuff is a joke and did absolutely nothing to help the situation... complete waste of my money in my opinion

Our indoor long haired cat had a bunch of matted chunky knots in his fur. I sprayed this on waited a few minutes then used our new cat brush, after only a couple sessions, no more knots, his fur is back to silky smooth, no need to bathe him after. Left no odor or residue behind & he was perfectly fine afterLicking the spot it was applied to so it’s also non toxic. Very pleased with this product.

spray doesn't work. I have to purchase a different spray bottle in order to use.
