Some other reviews of other models said it broke after a couple of uses. The description on this one emphasized the sturdiness of the chain which made it my choice. I needed it for the nice dress I bought to wear to my granddaughter's wedding. It has a hidden zipper ehich is hard to pull up and, since I live alone, i am able to get dressed on my own. I was worried that the clamp you attach to the zipper pull would slip off but it grips well and the padding on the tips don't harm the pull.

. . . including the one on the dress I bought this pull for! The zipper tag on the dress was a small, oval piece, and the clip on this pull could not keep a grip on it once I started pulling. The hook on the pull was too large to fit through the hole on the zipper tag, so I actually had to ask a woman in the hotel corridor to finish zipping me up! Disappointed. It may be fine for sturdy zippers, but . . .

Still need to try using this on a few more dresses, but so far, not so good. The hook isn’t sturdy enough, and the pincher(I think for zippers that don’t have a hole) doesn’t work at all. As someone who frequently travels alone for business, I use to master odd Contortions to zip, but alas, a few extra lbs and a bit of arthritis makes this more difficult. And unlike one hotel TV commercial, you really can’t call for room service to help zip your dress.

This works so good! I love it, especially when wearing my jump suits to work. It helps out alot and not having to ask my co-workers to unzip me everytime I need to go to the restroom...LOL. It is also small enough to carry in your purse.
