Work well with the included magnets. These are NORMALLY OPEN (off) without the magnet. They turn ON (closed) when the magnet is nearby. Operating distance roughly 1/2" when the switch and magnet are parallel.

Not much to add to already submitted reviews. They all worked as advertised. I installed using the adhesive double sided tape. One year later, they are still exactly where I stuck them on my windows.

I added this to my 2012 Chevy Colorado. I have driven numerous times with the tailgate open and didn't know it. I mounted this to a position in the tailgate that would not cause any interference and then wired it in parallel with a door jamb switch (right rear in my case). So now when the I put the car in drive, the dash will indicate door open and ding. If you want to drive with the tail gate open, I kept the second magnet and tale it to the sensor until done.

I got these for an authentication project I was working on and they work great. Good value for money. It was switching 12v with no problem. I haven't yet tested if it can do the claimed 100v yet. I'm slightly skeptical, though, because of the small gauge of wire it comes with. Overall great little reed switch.

I built a mailbox monitor with these. I was concerned that the switch sensor range would be short or shallow. But this product pleasantly surprised me when the included magnets activate (close) the switch side about 2cm away. So when the mailbox door opens, I get a nice, wide activation zone as the door swings open then closed again. The switch and magnet side are completely waterproof and easy to mount. The long leads on the switch side enabled me to run them all the way into the electronics enclosure without requiring an extension. Time will tell if the internal reed switches are durable but so far I really like this product. I'll be buying more for various IoT projects around the farm.

ha resistito a due urti, e capta il contatto anche a poca distanza, ottimo prodotto, diverso da quelli dati in dotazione di default. Ottimi anche i cavi semirigidi, permettono un buon posizionamento.
