Works great, cooks nice & hot, perfect weight to bring along anywhere you might need to heat up something. Easier to lug around on your next trip (hotel) but I haven't packed it away for a flight. Just for road trips a plus✓

This cooker is very enjoyable to cook many foods on both side with different temperatures, and fast!

I bought this as a backup. Just opened it this May. I really liked it, especially it had numbers painted on to pick out the cooking temperature. (My old one was a cheapie.) This morning noticed I have 1 and 4 only. Others must have rubbed off. Fortunately 1 is easy to find—the heat light turns on. And that is hot enough for my usage. Anyway, I can guess the heating temperature, as I did with my old one.

This is a very streamlined, lightweight single burner unit that has easy to use controls. It heats up very quickly and I have been able to adjust it to a dependably low heat once the food is done. It is especially useful in our kitchen since one of the burners on our stove's glass top is just about shot.

I never reviewed this little burner after I got it, but now I’ve had it almost 2 years so here goes!I’ve read other remarks, the dial numbers wore off, the burner kicks off and on, big deal! Most of these units have 2 or 3 settings, this one has a variable heat capability! That alone makes it superior, just turn the knob up or down and it responds immediately.The burner going off and on is designed to maintain an even temp. The burners on my son’s $800 stove do exactly the same. I suppose a built-in thermostat would allow it to adjust itself but I expect that would at least double the price.I’m a senior living in a separate wing of my son’s house and my “kitchen” is a small fridge, a small utility sink in the bathroom, a microwave and this great little burner. I’m a minimalist and I love the simplicity of it. I had a crock pot once with 3 settings and they turned out to be hot hot and off. This variable temp works flawlessly. Love it!!

It worked great until it didn't. The burners were hot and cooked the food quickly (in comparison to the previous brand I had). However, one of the burners suddenly stopped working, but the other still works well. Hopefully, for other buyer, this one was just a dud.

This counter top burner plate is very nice and works great. I was wishing it was a little bigger.
