Edit: These are accurate to one or two 10 thousandths of an inch, based on checking them on a very expensive gauge block set. It is surprising they are so close at a few different fractional measurements. There is a clear film on the screen that is good enough to think it isn't there. A screw fell on the screen and put a small hairline crack in it, so I decided to see if it was a film. It pulled off and has a great lens under it, plus the crack is less noticeable without the plastic in place. It makes me mad that it cracked so soon, but that is one of the reasons I didn't buy an expensive pair. They are good enough to buy a second set to have on hand. My HF calipers were decent and were accurate enough for basic machining, fabrication, and reloading, but after quite a few years they have started to randomly fail. Brand name calipers aren't worth risking where they may get dropped or damaged, especially when these were a 5th of the price. It has only been a week, but so far these do everything I wanted and have been repeatable. I'm picky about tools and appreciate quality tools but can only justify the price for top brands when there is a major difference in function or quality. Power tools and larger machines are worth it but even if I bought name brand calipers, I would still need a few pairs for general work and at the plasma table where they get wet and covered in dust so there would still be a need for lower priced options. The screen seems a bit soft and others said they were scratched. It appears there could be a clear film on the lens, but I can't be certain, so I haven't scratched at the edge to see if it is a film, for fear of damaging the lens if there isn't. They are clear, but not as clear or glossy as the cheap HF pairs. I figured with wear it might become more apparent.

The calipers are pleasing to use for both their ease of use and the size of the display. Initially I was not happy with the condition the package arrived in, but that was most likely brought about by the return process rather than the condition the package left the factory. Package was previously opened, showing a torn corner from opening. Only one battery was included, not two as described. The battery package was torn open and the battery is dead or the calipers are not working. Not happy about paying full price for a returned item.

This is the third time I've purchased this exact digital caliper because it works so well! I keep one at my 9-5 job, another at my office desk for when I'm using CAD software, and one more out in my workshop. It's consistently reliable and provides precise measurements, which is essential for my work and projects. The build quality is solid, and it has held up well in different environments. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an auto-off function to save battery life (only reason for 4 stars), so you have to remember to turn it off manually. Despite that, it's an excellent tool for the price and one I highly recommend for anyone needing accurate and dependable measurements.

After reading dozens of reviews on different calipers ranging from $20-$140, I finally decided on the approach of buying the least expensive caliper with no flaws flagged in review (hence this purchase). I verified its accuracy by measuring various drill bit sizes... worked perfectly. The action of closing and opening the jaws feels very smooth (this was called out in many reviews). So... bottom line... save yourself a TON of money and buy this one (vs more expensive models). ps - the only downside of this one is that, like all caliper devices, very slowing drain the battery even when its "off". This type of power "leak" is common with electrical circuits. So, if you plan on letting is set for months without use, you can save the 50 cent battery by taking out the battery. Again, reviews on this problem show that all calipers have this problem. I raise the issue here so that you don't think your caliper is broken if you pick it up after 6-12 months of no use and don't interpret a lack of response from the device as it being somehow broken (simply needs a new battery).

I retired from work and missed this tool I had used daily. I am so happy to own my own caliber. Works smoothly and I find so many reasons to use it.

Excellent caliper. It turns on automatically whenever I move it and it keeps the calibration, i.e. no need resetting it after turning on.

I bought this Caliper Measuring Tool specifically to measure inline skate wheels, and it works perfectly! The measurements are precise and easy to read, making it a breeze to get the exact wheel measurement. This is a nice step up, though reasonably priced caliper for the price. It looks to be all or mostly metal and has a nice large easy to read display. The buttons have a positive tactile feedback so you know when you pressed them. All in all, worth the price and better than other models I have had. All of which have died too soon. I’m happy with it so far and would recommend it.

Matériel professionnel. Une petite remarque. Il se met en route dès que la coulisse bouge un tout petit peu. Lorsque qu'on le suspend entre 2 clous et que les mâchoires ne sont pas serrées au maximum, il se rallume parce que la partie coulissante a bougé de 1 centième de millimètres.

Als begeisterter DIY'ler bin ich stets auf der Suche nach Werkzeugen, die sowohl präzise als auch erschwinglich sind. Der digitale Messschiebe, erfüllt diese Anforderungen perfekt und hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Zunächst einmal beeindruckt mich die Präzision dieses Messschiebers. Trotz seines erschwinglichen Preises liefert er genaue Messergebnisse, die für die meisten DIY-Projekte mehr als ausreichend sind. Ich habe ihn bereits für verschiedene Aufgaben verwendet, von Holzbearbeitung über die Planung von Ersatzteilen mit CAD Programmen für den 3d Druck bis hin zur Metallbearbeitung, und war jedes Mal mit den Ergebnissen zufrieden. Die Bedienung des Messschiebers ist ebenfalls sehr einfach. Das gut ablesbare LCD-Display zeigt die Messwerte deutlich an, und die Bedienelemente sind intuitiv angeordnet. Auch das Umschalten zwischen metrischen und imperialen Einheiten funktioniert reibungslos. Die Qualität und Haltbarkeit des Messschiebers haben mich ebenfalls überzeugt. Er liegt gut in der Hand und fühlt sich robust an, was wichtig ist, wenn man ihn häufig verwendet. Außerdem wird er mit einer Schutzhülle geliefert, die ihn vor Staub und Schmutz schützt, wenn er nicht in Gebrauch ist. Einziger Negativpunkt ist, dass er ab und zu bereits in der Schutzhülle an ist, da sich der Knopf hierfür sehr leicht drücken lässt. Insgesamt kann ich den digitalen Messschieber jedem Heimwerker empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem präzisen und dennoch erschwinglichen Messwerkzeug ist. Er hat sich als äußerst nützlich erwiesen und ist ein unverzichtbarer Bestandteil meiner Werkzeugkiste geworden.
