Help for see,have macular degeneration,nice and clear when sewing.

My machine came with a subpar light and made it hard to see so I thought I'd try this light set up. I love it! It come with three settings and super easy to apply the switch has an adhesive but I added little clips we had from the Christmas lights and voila perfect. You can see the difference in the pictures of with and without this added light.

I put it on my sewing machine. A game changer for old eyes.

I love how it brightens the sewing area, I have a Janome 4120 and it was too dark around the throat plate area.

I love these, but they die quickly. I thought my first one was a dud but now have had four that have died. The last one I bought only lasted 1 day. Most last 6 months.

I love this little led strip! The amount of light it added to my machine is wonderful. I think the button to turn it on and adjust the brightness is capacitive, you don't really press as much as you just tap it. I did experience an issue also reported by another review where it would turn on the turn off after a few seconds, that seems to occur if it's USB power cable is wrapped around and touching the sewing machine cable. I think somehow if the wires are touching it prevents the capacitive button from working properly. Once I realized that it's easy to just separate them a bit and then it's not a problem. Great price and great led light!

I'm a quilter and there never seems to be enough light. Well, this awesome light strip solved all my lighting issues. I absolutely love it. It has a nice adhesive strip so it's easy to install right where I wanted it on my sewing machine. AND, it's has different setting with a touch of a finger. It's awesome!

From the moment I plugged this in it worked properly the first few times I was playing with it to see how it worked, and I was really pleased. However, the next time I tried to turn it on, it would not turn on. I played with it and played with it and it does turn on and off, but it’s not consistent and is a total guess as to when it will turn on and stay on much less be able to control the brightness. It’s too willy-nilly for me so it’s going back.
