I got this as a cheaper alternative to another blue iron supplement that I was taking and because I wanted an iron-only supplement as necessary for my child who does not need the additional nutrients in the other one. I think the taste is slightly better (as much as any rusty nail water could ever taste!) on this product. I cannot verify whether this has made any difference in blood ferritin levels to date but it seems like a sensible and useful addition for someone who is not very good with eating a balanced diet.

I really like the flavour of this iron supplement and a part of me wanted to fill a glass with it lol. The recommended dose is 15ml and the cap shows the ml levels for fast and easy dosing. This is a 500ml bottle so it will supplement your diet for just over a month for £13.99 at time of review. Not the cheapest iron supplements but I find this is easier on the stomach and is absorbed better being a liquid rather than a tablet. It helps to sustain my energy levels as well. As with all supplements check with your health care provider before taking supplements particularly if you're pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition and/or taking regular medication. Great taste and no bitter aftertaste either, and gentle on the tummy but could be cheaper.

I love this because it is so much tastier than other alternatives. The bottle is also less messy and doesn't leak.

I cannot tolerate iron tablets this blue berry liquid is so easy to take no after effects and nice tasting yes I would recommend this ,my own dr said for me this is a much better way of taking iron which I badly need

Iron is wonderful for fatigue, but it can be really rough on the stomach - especially if you’re sensitive in that area - so it can be difficult to take. This one is great, though. Best one I’ve ever tried, in fact. It tastes great - a little like Smucker’s grape jelly - and it doesn’t cause any digestive issues. You can take it neat or mixed with water and both are fine but mixed with water and ice is lovely - it actually makes taking it a joy. The bottle will last a month, give or take a couple of days, and currently costs £13.99 which is a great price for something so beneficial, while also being tasty. Fab.
