Fairly priced, nicely tooled heavier than expected pieces and work perfectly to give an extra few inches to your shower arm. With some plumbers tape and an extra 1/4 turn with some vice grips, I was able to easily make a waterproof connection. Worth it to get the shower head in the right position.

It leaks, it’s not the correct thread coarseness for shower heads or plumbing fittings. It is not a grade of “stainless steel” I would market as “stainless steel”.I bought this a while ago, finally got feed up with the leaks and dripping stains. See pictures of what yours may look like after a while to decide if you want to buy.Also, the corrosion the fitting is not a reflection on my water. Other fittings and plumbing is clean and clear.

I bought these to extend my shower head away from the wall. Once installed they work as expected and I am happy with them. The only issue is that there is no washer, or a lip to hold a washer, where the two sections screw together as well as where the end connects to the pipe coming from the wall. I had to use a large amount of teflon tape to keep those two joints from leaking. I also considered plumbers dope if the teflon tape did no hold but so far so good.

Its a piece of threaded pipe it worked. It feels like heavy solid material and the finish is tough enough to resist scrapes.

Brought the shower head down for a vertically challenged household member. Water doesn't cool too much before it gets to them.

I butted the 2 extenders to get my shower head lower and I used Teflon tape on the threads and it leaked. I took off the all the joints and used Megaloc Multi-Purpose Thread Sealant on the threads and tightened; finally no leaks. Megaloc is made with Kevlar Fiber and it gets the job done.The end result looks good!I had two issues with these extenders that led me to rate these extenders at 3 stars, as follows:(1) There were metal thread shavings still attached to one of the extender’s female 1/2in NPT, so I had to remove these shavings.(2) The length of the male 1/2in NPT seems to be too short at 10mm (0.4”) and the mating attachment butted up against the ledge at the end of the male thread which made it harder to tighten the joint without leaking. It should be noted that I knew the male threads were only 10mm when I ordered these extenders, but I still purchased them.Here is the review ranking basis that I have adopted:⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality.⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price.⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

These extensions are perfect for extending your shower head out to clear a storage rack hanging on the pipe. The rack often interferes with the head mount and makes the head susceptible to falling. It really hurts when the shower head falls on your foot. They are very simple and easy to install.
