I remember having these as a kid and they work so well keeping the fresh for a period of time. They fit the average tin and the plastic is sturdy. Very happy with the item

I bought this two-pack of tin lids as a more convenient way to cover half-used cans of food and soup etc. There are three in each box, so 6 in total, all identical except for the colours. They’re made of “plastic, silicone” as stated in the product description. To the touch they feel closer to flexible plastic than rubber. Not hard, but fairly rigid. Fixing them on the rim of the can isn’t quite as effortless as I hoped. It often requires a couple of attempts to line it up while pressing down before it clips into place, although it does get easier after using them several times. They are designed to fit standard size cans only, so they cannot be used on smaller cans, other than placing them on top loosely as a lid. Removing them is much quicker and easier, by lifting the tab while holding the can in one action. Cleaning them isn’t difficult, just make sure no foodstuff is left under the lip around the edge. -Pros: • Fairly inexpensive • Good seal around the can • Hygienic • Attractive colours • Easy to remove -Cons: • Slightly fiddly to attach • Not very flexible • Only fit standard size cans Overall, these are adequate to do the job. They are robust, give a reliable seal, and are reusable indefinitely. If they were slightly easier to attach I would give them 5 stars, but I think a rating of 4 is probably fair.
