If you scale your fish with a wire brush or horse comb, I highly recommend you spend the money on an electric scaler!! Holy moly this was a game changer this year as we processed more than a hundred red salmon, all of which get scaled! Each fish was scaled in less than a minute! The extra battery is nice too because it only lasts for about a dozen fish, so you can keep one on the charger while you’re working the other. We even haven’t another one as a back up too if multiple people are scaling or we have a big pile!! I highly recommend it!!
