Works on cribby geldings and circus mares
My 15y (gelding) horse is a habitual cribber. I spray this wherever he tries and it stops him until it wears off. The evaporative liquid that makes this spray easy is quite pungent at first but quickly dissipates. The remaining residue lasts for several days before a quick reapplication is needed to dissuade my cribby friend. Also, an unintentional use I have found is this helps me keep my wifeβs 4y (mare) horse from climbing on her corral panels lol! The smell/ taste keeps the horse away. Works great and easy to apply. Thanks again.

This worked for a persistent chewer
We have a high enery teething puppy who will chew and eat things he shouldn't. We use a top rated bitter spray in the house that only works for a little while and has to be reapplied frequently. These sprays are not effective on all dogs and you have to try several to find one that works for your dog. Many dogs seem to be immune to all of the. Ours is extremely persistent and we will have a long road of training and maturing ahead to get over this. The Crib Guard contains a bitter agent plus what basically amounts to pepper spray (if only people would read the product description before complaining about being forced out of a confined space after spraying). We are using this outside on a wooden deck and dirt around the patio blocks at the bottom of the steps. I applied it ONCE on Saturday and the pup is still sniffing and moving on without chewing on Wednesday. It will need to be reapplied if it rains or after a period of time as it dissipates, but it works. If you understand what you are buying and how to use it, this product gets the job done even with persistent chewers. I would love to use this inside as it gets the job done, but that's not what this product was formulated to do.

Works!
Very effective, but will need to be reapplied occasionally.

DOES NOT WORK
While this crap had me gagging and eyes stinging, my mare clearly couldn't give a crap as evidenced by the photos of her mouthing licking and chewing the cross ties that were still dripping with the substance after I had just fumigated myself spraying it on them.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

No smell spray
Bought to treat wood against horses. Tried on dog poop since my dog eats it. No odor to humans but my dog STOPPED eating poop. I LOVE this. Works for me. πππ

Not long lasting
Sprayed it on areas where the horse was rubbing his teeth. He stays away from the area for a few days, then he's right back at it.

Great product
This product helps with a horse that likes to bite or run their teeth on boards in their stall. I used another product and it is no longer made. So I tried this one. It really is potent. It makes your eyes water is you are to close to it. Plus the review wants a " flavor" rating. I have NO idea what the flavor tastes like.... and do not want to know, lol. Anyway, it works with horses.

Great Deterrent
I used this spray to keep my dog from chewing the fur off of his tail (he has some separation anxiety and used to chew chunks of hair off of his tail when I was gone, sort of like a human biting their nails.) It kept him away from his tail so that the fur could grow back, and now it looks gorgeous.I also use it to deter the neighbor's cats from pooping in my yard. They don't keep them indoors and let them roam the neighborhood, and I was tired of trying to dig in the garden only to run into cat poop. I sprayed it on the areas they like to go and they haven't done it since! One word of warning, though: make sure you're not facing into the wind when you spray this, because it is essentially pepper spray and it WILL burn your eyes and nose. Make sure you wash your hands before touching your face after use - you also probably want to be outside when you use it.
