For the price point you can't go wrong!
Installed this backup camera two weeks ago for long trip from job assignment. I had accumulated a lot of stuff I bought over the months and the bed of my truck was full before that. I bought a cargo bag to put on the back bed cover and noticed it was going to block all the back windows. Not to mention my fearful pet was riding in the backseat and I put up shades on his side windows. Now most people probably wouldn't feel they would need anything for a small vehicle but I wanted the security to know my bag wasn't blowing off the back (we had terrible storms for hours on the way back) and to be able to see those people who love to tailgate on the back of a truck where I can't see them. Installation I put a four on there I only because it wasn't that difficult it's just that I'm not the most handy person with electrical stuff. But it wasn't difficult. I took the RV camera and mounted rare earth magnets to the bottom of it that I ordered on Amazon so it would stick to the top of the truck very well and ran the provided cord straight down past the windows and routed it through a stake pocket and under the bed rail to the back of the truck so you really didn't see it. Instead of wiring it directly into my tail lights I ran the cord down the back stake pocket under the truck and wired it to a flat four prong adapter to my towing package so it sticks out and I can plug it right in and it's always on. Not the prettiest setup but definitely was the easiest setup and easy to remove. Signal was strong and very clear. I have to say that I used the little crimp type wiring connectors and that was a mistake as it didn't last very long. Ended up having to solder the wires together but no big deal used shrink tubing over that and then wrapped with electrical tape. worked well. So have to say very good value for what you get and peace of mind to boot! Would buy again. Not to mention the seller is very responsive when I ask questions so I know the support is top-notch and the company that makes the product also responded to me immediately. I highly recommend this product.

easy to connect, reliable and quick performance
I bought a wired system before because of frequent reports of wireless systems dropping out and I wanted a solid system. The wired solution works well but it does require a bit of effort and some hours to disassemble panels in your car to have a clean installation and hide the cable. Since the rear of my vehicle is a big piece of metal, I was worried that a wireless signal wouldn’t be reliable. I decided to try this one for another vehicle since it doesn’t have a lot of complaints. I tried my standard test-it-first before going through all the installation steps and it only took 5-10 minutes and was easy. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and quick it was to get it going, and the image came up quickly the first time. Black-and-white night-view is quite clear when it’s dark and it switches to color day-view with very little light. (Just shining a flashlight around at night and the image switched immediately to day-view with a pretty good color image under low light.)Some things to note:Day view fills the entire display. Night-view shows a centered black-and-white oval image that fills most of the display (although the corners of the rectangular display are blocked out.)This unit has a much higher resolution camera/display than the wired version I bought so the image is actually quite a bit nicer. There’s a customer support email in the instructions and I found they responded quickly to questions/comments (within hours or by the next day). The instructions say to contact them to get issues solved or parts replaced at any time to make sure you have a well working system. The unit that I received had two approx. 3” external antennas but also came with a third 12” antenna for optional long-range use – which I appreciated given my apprehension about wireless performance. I didn’t know it would come with that. But I actually didn’t need to use the extra-long antenna. If yours doesn’t come with one, it sounds like they will send one free if your signal isn’t stable. You do need power to the camera (by tapping into your backup lights) and for the display (cig lighter). "Wireless" means you don’t need to run the wire from the rear camera to the front display which avoids the bulk of the work in installing these systems. Usually, backup tail light power is easily accessible so tapping power there isn’t too hard.

Works so much better than our old Furrion camera - See update
*** Update - The seller responded and shipped me a replacement camera. This camera fixed the problem I was having with the red tint to the screen, Just finished a 1200 mile trip, and no problems.*** Update: I have revised my review, as I have a problem and have not been able to get it resolved. After the initial testing, the screen now is red. I sent an email and had a response requesting a video of the display, which I sent, but now no response in over a week.Just installed this on a new fifth wheel. Our old fifth wheel had the Furrion camera, which cost much more, and the video quality was going downhill as time went by. This camera has much better video quality, and the refresh rate is much better. Only tested on one trip so far, but no drop out of signal. The 7" monitor is big, almost too big. Probably great in a big Class A motorhome, but in our 1 ton tow vehicle it takes up a lot of space on the dash. It is very easy to see details on it though. On the Furrion mount, it came with no instructions. Luckily some of the reviews had good details on how to install it. You end up completely removing the Furrion mount, leaving the rubber gasket, and the four screws line up with the holes in the new mounting bracket. You also have to cut off the rubber ring around the end of the adapter cable in order to plug it into the power jack on the camper. Overall I am quite happy with this unit so far, and much cheaper.

A cost effective and valuable tool
I installed the backup camera on my 20ft travel trailer. I had also purchased the adapter for Furrion camera bracket so the installation was easy. Note that, to get a solid installation, you should use the screws provided with the adapter because the default Furrion ones are way to small. I just returned from my first trip using the system and it worked flawlessly. The wireless connection never dropped, even at highway speeds. The picture quality was always good. I only used the system during the day so I cannot comment on how it functioned at night. It took only a couple of adjustments along the trip to get the angle of the camera just right for both backup and for general observation while travelling. Note that, as with most backup cameras, objects look farther way that they actually are so you need to be aware. That said, not once did my wife and I have to yell at each other while I was backing up into the camping spaces...made the purchase totally worth it just for keeping the peace.
