I couldn’t be happier with the SimPure T1-400UV Tankless RO System! From start to finish, this has been an incredible upgrade for our home water setup.Installation was a breeze — the instructions were crystal clear, and all parts were well-organized and labeled. I’m not a plumber by any means, but I had it up and running in under an hour. The compact, tankless design is a space-saver and looks sleek under the sink.Once installed, I was immediately impressed by the strong and consistent water pressure. Unlike other RO systems I’ve tried in the past, this one doesn’t slow to a trickle — it delivers a full stream of purified water quickly, which is a game-changer for cooking and filling water bottles.TDS tested at 0! Yes, ZERO. The water tastes absolutely pristine — better than any bottled water we’ve had. You can literally taste the purity. Plus, the added UV sterilization gives me total peace of mind, especially with a family that drinks water constantly.If you're on the fence, don’t be. The SimPure T1-400UV is worth every penny. I tried earlier to write about my experiences and evaluation of the SimPure T1-400 UV. I thought that I had submitted it, but I don't see in the reviews, so I'm trying this again. My apologies if it's a duplication.Anyway, I want to share this with anyone interested in self installing this RO system. First let me say that we're very pleased with the customer support we've received from SimPure, and love the results of the water we're enjoying from this unit.I ran into an issue with the SimPure waste water drain saddle that required me to entirely re-plumb the existing P trap to accommodate it. The problem arose because the drain saddle needs a straight piece of ABS tubing to mount it to. I wish SimPure had an alternative drain attachment that was simpler like my old RO system that allowed for more flexible mounting.A more serious problem came up when I installed the feedwater valve. When I turned on the existing cold water valve a slow water leak developed above it coming from the feedwater valve. When I uninstalled the feedwater valve to inspect it, I found that the flat washer had become damaged. I suspect this occurred when I rotated the valve to put the handle in a more convenient position. I contacted SimPure Customer Support and they offered to send my a new valve kit. However, before they sent me the kit I was able to locate a replacement washer at my local Ace Hardware store. I purchased a 79 cent silicone rubber washer that was almost an exact match to the damaged washer. It was 17/32" OD flat faucet washer, Danco brand Part No. 35063 B. I lightly lubricated the new washer with Dow Corning 111 Valve Lubricant before installing it. This time no leaks!After flushing the SimPure T1, I compared the RO water to my city water. City water TDS = 289. SimPure T1 RO water TDS = 2. A very impressive reduction! City water pH = 7.2; SimPure T1 water pH = 8.4.My wife and I love the neutral taste and odorless smell of the SimPure T1 water. I also like the idea that it is UV treated to reduce microorganisms that might be in the system. I do wish that the output were a bit faster, but it's still adequate for our needs. All in all, I think that the SimPure T1-400 UV deserves the 5 thumbs up that I'm giving it.

This would get a 5 Star review, if the O Rings on the filters weren't all damaged! The installation went smoothly, for the most part. We had one small leak, caused by human error, which was an easy fix, but we had a flood of water, from all 4 filters, because all 4 filters had bad O Rings. And it wasn't a quick find. The water sprayed out everywhere, and made it difficult to figure out what was happening. It was quite a mess! That was manufacture error. Every ring at the top caused each filter to leak. Luckily they gave us 4 spare rings, and once we replaced them, the leaks stopped. So much for spare rings. Hopefully the next batch of filters don't come with damaged O Rings?Other then that, I love this system! It takes up a small amount of space, under the sink. It runs very quietly, and the water taste exactly as it should, like nothing!!!I have very bad water...high sulfur content, and very hard water. I have to run two systems in the basement, one is salt, and the other is chlorine, just so I can shower & do laundry. Brushing my teeth, is no pic nic. Yuck! My drinking water was filtered by a zerowater system, but i still tasted the sulfur, so I also had to use a zerowater filter bottle, just so I could drink it. I refuse to drink bottled water. Save our planet, and all that.This new system filters it completely, and the water taste amazing! I am beyond thrilled that I requested this for my birthday! Happy Birthday, to me!!! A gift for everyone, really!Hopefully the manufacturer process for the O Rings improves?!
