HexClad Is In My Future!
My first HexClad purchase and won’t be my last! I purchased this 11-inch wok in a set (created by Amazon) together with the 11-inch pan. They share a single lid that fits both of them. I never imagined life could be so easy to cook and then clean until I bought these 2 pans. I’m literally in seventh heaven. My food has never cooked better and my clean-up has never been this easy. Not to mention the appearance of these pans after clean-up. They look as good as new. The quality and durability speaks for itself. When I think of the number of pans I’ve purchased over the years that went bad so soon, I recognize just how good a value for my money these HexClad are. I’ll be buying additional pieces slowly, and that’s fine with me. One last thing, this pan isn’t a wok in the traditional sense. It’s just a deeper pan. And it works perfectly as such. I’ve cooked fried rice, lo mein, and other dishes that require a pan that has more depth. This pan is perfect for that. I think the larger 14 inch size would be a bit too big for me as I’m a petite woman. I find this size perfect for cooking meals for up to 4 people. But I would consider the larger size if I had to cook for more.

Lives up to claims
Used it once so far to cook a pan-fried noodle dish (usually left to carbon steel woks) with zero sticking. Not going to get the “wok hei” as with Carbon steel but you probably wouldn’t anyway unless you have a blast furnace under the pan.

Fantastic wok!
I should have bought this years ago. I spent just as much on several other woks none of which lasted, either warping or got scratched even with non metal utensils. This wok is great and lives up to all that’s been said so just get it if you’ve been thinking about it. Definitely can use metal utensils but I try not to in general to be honest. It is heavy to lift especially if you’re making hefty stir fry dishes but I still give it 5 stars because I blame my carpal tunnel more for that. lol. Will be replacing my other pans with theirs soon.

Nice looking wok.
So far so good. I bought 10” wok. It’s actually a bit smaller for our purpose. But we are keeping it. Since it is a wok, obviously the capacity is smaller that our other 10” pans.

Pricey but efficient
I actually deep fried in this pan and found it easy to use. Nothing stuck to the sides even though this batter tends to do that. Cleaned up nicely

Super easy clean up!
Absolutely love this pan! Worth the money. Just wish it came with a lid. I know I'm going to have to order it seperate

Wok style great, but received a dud?
I have a mixed review for this Hexclad wok and debated over how many stars to give. As a wok style, really like it. Not too heavy. Well balanced. As a Hexclad piece…meh. After seasoning it, cooling it, and washing it twice, it still had residue when wiped with a white papertowel. I called Hexclad and requested an exchange. They denied and suggested seasoning again and for longer. Had done that the second time, but ok, did it again. And then again. It finally wiped clean after having seasoned, cooled, and washed four times in four days. However, it doesn’t have the same seasoned sheen or feel as my other pieces. This wok piece browns well but takes more effort to clean than the others.I find I don’t use it as often as I expected to. I keep wondering if we would be ingesting metal residue. I am sure I received the dud in the lott and the rest are fine…?…but would have appreciated it being exchanged when asked- at least for the peace of mind.

Great cookware
Waited for a sale to replace my current cookware. Pan is expensive but so worth it. Highly recommend.
