This blue pumpkin was used on our front door stoop to indicate that we had treats for those with autism (candy and non-candy).

Love this autism awareness pumpkin. People asked about it being blue and served just its purpose. My only criticism is the price. “Normal” orange pumpkins cost half the price. Parents of autistic children already pay a premium for everything (not the least of it therapies, special ed, etc) must we pay extra for our kid’s trick or treating pumpkins too???

I don't write many reviews. But this is such a rip off, I had to let others know. I ordered the blue pumpkin for my Autistic grandson. Thought the Idea of it was great. The handle is cheap and the pumpkin is very thin plastic. This is a dollar store item not worth the money. Very disappointing!!

Just a cheap, plastic jack-o'-lantern pail that used to cost a buck at Walmart. However, General Foam Plastics (the manufacturer) went out of business in 2017, so you probably won't be seeing these at Walmart any longer. A company named Amloid (who made this particular pail I bought here, not General Foam, as listed) bought the molds from General Foam and continued making these pails, but if you see them in a store, I'm sure now they'll be priced at more than a dollar. Online, they'll be WAY more than a dollar.Collector's take note; the differences between the original General Foam jack-o'-lantern pails and the more recent Amloid pails are the logo on the bottom and the Amloid pails have a 3/16" hole in the center of the bottom, which the General Foam pails did not have. Their bottoms were solid.Oh, and to just throw in something of interest for those who didn't know; these "non-traditional-colored" jack-o'-lantern pails have significant meanings pertaining to the child carrying one. They are:Blue - The child is autisticTeal - The child has food allergies (should be given a non-edible treat)Purple - The child has epilepsyPink - Someone in the child's family is fighting or is a survivor of breast cancerBlack - Mmm, could mean there was a recent death in the child's family?Orange, of course, is the traditional color

Got this for me 21 year old autistic son. Good way to let other people know that he may look like a full grown man but his soul is forever that of a child. This Blue Pumpkin came in the mail quickly and in perfect condition.
