The Original Pillow with a Hole V2 - Your Ear's Best Friend [Made in England]

This pillow has been giving some relief to my ear. Its height and firmness are just right for me. It's an excellent size, just a tiny bit amaller than my regular pillow. I've been putting it in a regular pillowcase, then I adjust the pillowcase to fit the hole in the pillow. Just punch the pillow (in the case) where the hole is. Voila... a nice smooth pillow with a depression for my ear. I'm also massaging my ear where it's sore to improve circulation. I'm very pleased with this pillow purchase!

This is my second PWAH. The first was an original version and while it did make sleeping on my side a lot more comfortable, it wasn't quite big enough. I plan to take it with me when I travel, which will allow me to sleep well wherever I am. Enter the PWAH V2. This pillow is a real game-changer! Finally, I am able to sleep on my side and not wake up in the middle of the night in pain from having a pillow pressing on my outer ear. The new pillowcase is a winner too. Once you get used to the way it works, it is not difficult to take off or put it back on. And, since this pillowcase covers the entire pillow, including the center section, it is easier to keep the pillow itself clean. The pillows and cases are well made and I look forward to using them for years.

When I was treated for head/neck cancer last year, they warned about a lot of side effects. But I was not prepared for the severe burns from 36 consecutive radiation treatments that made my skin red, rough and dry, and the near constant mucus that makes it impossible to sleep on my back. The ONLY way I could sleep at all was on my right side, which received a lower dose of radiation. But that side had also been fairly badly burned, and I developed an open sore on my right ear that would not heal.I tried several ointments, bought silk pillowcases, etc. but my ear would not heal — and my sleep became fitful bouts increasingly disrupted by ear pain. That is NOT helpful during recovery.Finally I went to see a dermatologist. She burned off the benign lesions that had formed on my ear and recommended I keep it moisturized with Aquaphor. She also suggested I get a CNH pillow. All I knew of them was that there were some small donut shaped ones that seemed impossible to use comfortably for someone who has always used a full-size pillow.But then I found version two of this pillow on Amazon. I waited patiently for it to show up from England. And the wait proved well worth it. Within days, the relief from not having any pressure on the sore was so wonderful that already my ear looks almost completely healed. I buy a lot of things of all kinds, and there are very few products I’ve ever owned that I’ve would recommended so highly.My only caveat is that buyers should order at least one extra pillowcase so you always have a clean and fresh one.

Two weeks in, and I can definitely sleep better. CNH has been impacting sleep for months, so thought I would try this pillow. So far, so good - has been helpful with better sleep.Overall this is a really good pillow itself, and it happens to also have a hole in the middle. Took me couple of times to modify the stuffing level and get it right for me, just follow the YTube video from website about how best to do that. The stuffing is different than other pillows I've tried in past and works very well for it's purpose - I would like this pillow just for the good construction and the stuffing, having the hole and positive impact for CNH is another bonus on top.Expensive vs. other choices, but this one is worth it. Pillows are used every night for sleep, so get the best one - for me this is the one!

It’s a great little pillow. We had questions about cleaning it and the company was quick to respond. It does take some getting used to.

I bought the Original PWAH Version 2 as I have noisy neighbors and use active noise cancelling earbuds (QuietOn 3.1). Although these are less obtrusive than larger noise cancelling ear phones I still had some pressure on the ear making it difficult to sleep (I'm a side sleeper). Having searched online for solutions, I came across the Original Pillow with a Hole on Amazon. Using the pillow for a few weeks, I must say I am very pleased. No ear pressure using the earbuds and the pillow itself is very comfortable and keeps cool overnight. It is a high quality product and comes with pillow case and nice packaging.

the pillow is great for adjustment of stuffing to meet my level of comfort. However, the earhole is very uncomfortable due to stitching and gathering. Currently I am trying to cover it with softer material. It is otherwise good quality and better than anything else I tried.

I have CNH, which means sleeping on my ears is painful. So I've been searching for a pillow that has a hole in it, and must have tried at least 10 different kinds (including the PWAH v1, but I found that pillow size was too small for me).The PWAH v2 is the best I've found so far - comfortable, adjustable filling, and the most 'pillow-like' of any I've tried. The hole is a good, larger size for my ear, and the filling is adjustable (I did have to remove a fair amount of filling after the first night to make it a bit lower and softer for me), so I haven't had any neck pain either. I like it so much, I got a second one for traveling.Also, I had a question for the seller and he responded very quickly and was super-informative and helpful. Personally, I think that sleeping on any kind of pillow with a hole in the middle of it is a bit challenging, but this pillow makes it almost like normal.
