This book gives us hope!
Finally. This book explains what endo really is, how it grows in our bodies, and how to stop it - based on solid research and not more opinions. The author clearly explains what we need to do to heal endo, and even get it into remission. She explains how we can change our daily lives to fight it, and when to seek professional help. She even tells us how to talk to our doctors. There is a great chapter by Dr. Andrew Cook on when to get surgery and exactly what kind of surgery you will need. The book is packed with data and info, but it was very easy to read and understand. I bought both the kindle edition and a hard copy, because I want to keep it on my shelf to refer to and make notes in. This book gives us profound new hope. Highly recommend to women with endo who are looking for a real solution.

Goodbye Brain Fog and Chronic Pain
To be to the point: this book is very easy to read, you gain a lot of knowledge about endometriosis and there are a lot of suggestions of life style changes you can apply to improve your condition and if you are lucky go into remission.More details on my experience,I recently got diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis following an laparoscopy surgery and shortly after found this book.Simply put this knowledge has changed my life. I have learned so much about what is happening in my body and how to manage it and also am able to explain to loved ones what is going on with me. I finally feel like I have control and very much believe that this can be managed with a holistic approach. She does suggest an elimination diet and instead I did a Everlywell blood test to find out what foods disrupt my immune system. Most of the foods she suggested that could possibly be needed to cut out were sensitivities for me. ( cows dairy, wheat , nightshade veggies, etc).

Must read
I have read several books on endometriosis and this was by far the most helpful for looking at it as a full body disease. It does a good job of explaining the disease process and empowering women to address symptoms through a holistic approach.

GET THIS BOOK, GAME CHANGER
Read it in a day! Most useful information I have EVER found and written in a way that's easy to process. Again just took me a day to read it even those it's over 300 pages. I was constantly sighing and thinking to myself "Finally, some answers for these problems I've had for years!" It completely aligns with what my specialists have told me so far too. But with months waiting for appointments I just can't keep waiting that long to learn more about my condition. She does a great job providing resources as well for anything she's not quite the expert on, which with the condition is really important. One of the most exhausting condition to have and it provides a real actionable plan. Important to note this book does not claim to completely cure/rid yourself of endo, this is not possible currently. The plan is to get it to the best place possible and get to remission. It's also written very empathetically, and with compassion for all walks of life with endo. Anyone with this condition knows the medical gaslighting so it felt so good to be seen! It's hard to understand what someone really needs if they haven't lived it themselves.

Don't listen to the 1 star rating
I don't usually leave reviews but when I read the review with the 1 star rating, I had to respond. I think this lady was just looking for a magic pill to make her endo go away and got mad when she didn't find it.The reviewer states that the author recommended taking massive amounts of supplements when in fact the author has said multiple times throughout the book that you should get as many of the vitamins and minerals suggested through food and not supplements. She seemed to make it very clear that she does not support taking supplement pills unless necessary. The reviewer also complained about the photos not being necessary. She did say that they were in black and white. I read the digital version and the photos were in color. I found them extremely helpful. Maybe the black and white version was harder to see though.Lastly, the reviewer complained that the author focuses too much on fertility and states that it's insensitive to those who want to reduce their pain and don't want kids. I too am looking to reduce pain and don't plan on getting pregnant but I didn't feel the author was being insensitive at all. It seems that the two biggest symptoms of endo is pain and fertility issues. It would be insensitive to only talk about pain and completely dismiss the fertility issues.

Healed from Endo!!
I cannot put into words how this book helped save my life. I am now in remission from Stage 4, deep infiltrating endometriosis. This book helped me change my diet and set my digestion straight. I also found my AMAZING endo excision specialist through this book. After finishing it, I passed it around to those in my life interested to hear about my disease. Do yourself a favor and read and follow as instructed. You’ll be brand new.

FINALLY!
After years of being told some wild things about what endo is, how to treat it, or that it's "just" a painful period, I finally feel like someone out there gets it. This is the first truly holistic approach to endo that I've seen and feel much more hopeful about endo and what I have the power to do to help it than ever before. This book compiles research from tons of medical and wellness professionals and specialists, and the author puts it all together in a simple, easily comprehensible way with clear action items and takeaways. She also conveys everything with an overall tone of hope and encouraged accountability.Highly recommend as the first step in taking your life back!
