Great deal. Great for a non-pro!
Great deal and perfect for a newby like me. Got my plant stand fixed cheaper than taking it to someone and can continue to learn and use.

Worked well for welding some nuts to some broken bolts.
I broke some bolts removing my exhaust manifold and tried the "weld a nut on the bolt" trick and it worked like a charm. For the price, I'm super happy with the little welder.

Best bang for your buck!!
Im far from a seasoned welder but this is definitely the best bang for your buck welder out there for under $200! It's like night and day compared to my old Harbor Freight welder. Smooth and produces great welds!

Perfect for hobbyists and beginners
So, I'm not an expert welder by any means, and I've never actually welded with flux core wire. I've welded off and on for the past 20 years and it's been at least 5 years since I've touched a welder. With a standard mig setup with argon, once dialed in, I can lay a pretty decent weld. Not perfect, but it'll hold together. I took this out of the box and started working on some scrap. Turned the power up to a little over half since I was working with 1/8" thick material. To my surprise, this thing started laying down a solid bead. I was expecting a lot more spatter and work trying to dial the settings in. For a novice welder, who needs something to get them started for hobbyist type projects, I would absolutely 100% recommend this unit. It's small, lightweight and extremely portable. I would recommend that you have a 20 amp outlet to run it on and a heavy duty extension cord.

Very good
No complaints on this little welder, does everything I’ve asked of it so far. Has very good penetration on welding thicker steel. Welds came out nicely. Even for my dad to buy one and he’s been welding for 30 plus years with nothing but millers. I would have no problems buying another one if it came down to it. Only thing I would make sure you have a 30Amp breaker or it will pop anything lower than that, and up grade the ground clamp to something better. Other than that the welder is great for someone looking to do some smaller projects.
