Q: how long is the handle?

The plastic grip portion of the handle is 5 1/4 inches long. The entire handle with strapping is 8 1/2 inches long, but you'd do best to install it with the strap ends turned under the grip. The handles are a cinch to install and a great addition to your yak!

Q: Does the kit come with rivets or just the hardware shown?

The hardware is 4 ss screws, 4ss lock nuts,4 rivets, & 8 ss washers

Q: How much weight are the handles rated to carry each?

Not sure exactly but my yak is about 75LBS with gear and I can carry it with no issues. I've only replaced them once in 10 years due to dry rot. Good buy for the price and installs in less than 5 minutes.

Q: How is it possible that two plastic clips and screws can COST $103.92???

For what? I paid like 10$ or so
