Good quality
Good sturdy iron, heats up really quickly. Has a good weight to it - you can press out creases but it's not too heavy. My family has had this model for years with no issues so I decided to get the same one when moving out. Really good value for money.

Lightweight and smooth
This is a really lightweight steam iron which one of the things I wanted. Having recently had a stroke my left side is weaker and I can no longer manage the heavy generator iron I already own. The water reservoir is small but lasts a surprisingly long time. That's probably because the steam isn't that strong. It's a great iron if you have small things to iron or things that don't need a full press but it made heavy work of linen trousers and jeans. I gave up ironing bedding and reverted back to my generator iron for them as the steam goes through 4 layers so it makes short work of it. The cord length is OK, no-one is going to get tangled up in it. It looks good, is a lovely colour and feels good in the hand. If you do a lot of ironing I'm not sure this iron would be for you. However if you just use an iron occasionally then I would recommend this iron.

Power, Performance & Purple Perfection
Tried a few steam irons over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. It heats up quickly, glides effortlessly, and makes even the most stubborn wrinkles disappear like magic. The steam output is strong and consistent, and it doesn’t leak or sputter like others I’ve used in the past. One of the things I absolutely love about it? The color! I’m obsessed with purple, and this iron happens to come in the most gorgeous shade. Sleek, stylish, and honestly makes ironing (almost) fun.If you are looking for a reliable, efficient steam iron that also looks great sitting on your ironing board, this is definitely the one.

Light weight ....fabulous iron
The media could not be loaded. My previous iron suddenly broke....think I had it for over 10 years so..can't complain🤣..looking for a replacement I was quite shocked at the prices. This iron caught my attention RRP £49.99 on offer for £17.99.I wanted a light weight iron for normal household use - fitted the bill.perfectly.On receipt I was pleased with the look & feel of the iron.Using the plastic water jug provided I filled the tank with water..ready to go!I was really pleased with the ease of use also with the performance ..my sheets looked great even ironing from very dry they were crease free. The iron heats up very quickly. You can also use to steam vertically which is fab for curtains & dresses etc.Russell Hobbs is a well known brand so feel confident in the quality. My only negatives were thatI found the cover for the water inlet a bit flimsy. There is no where to wrap the cord around to keep in place for storage. That said I think it's a great iron. I am pleased with my purchase it does a good job, lightweight, great value when on offer. For that I would reccommend. Not sure if I would pay the full price though.

Performs Well at a Great Price
This was bought as a replacement for my Russell Hobbs Steamglide which our daughter managed to somehow permanently burn some material onto the soleplate!!By comparison, this is a light-weighted iron, which is good if you have some difficulty with arm movement, for example arthritis in the wrist, hand or shoulder. It’s easy to pick up or manoeuvre around the ironing board, although I would have preferred a little more weight because while it does the job well I nonetheless need to work that little extra at getting out stubborn creases. The pointed front end is excellent as this helps make it easy to get between shirt and blouse buttons. The water spray is the right amount, the iron steams well, and the glide is effortless. The accompanying water jug has a 100ml capacity although the iron itself states to having a 300ml water tank (Steamglide jug is 300ml) – no problem though with quick top-ups once the tank is filled. At 2m, the flex is much shorter than the Steamglide (just move the ironing board closer to the electrical socket!), the heel stand not as substantial (there’s not even a lip to wrap the cord around for storage after use – you just have to coil it around wherever) and the water inlet cover flimsier (though not easily breakable) by comparison, none of which being in my opinion a major problem. All in all, this is a light-weighted iron of a well-known and trusted brand that does the trick, albeit on a smaller scale to the Steamglide. It performs well and at such a great price too.
