Fast response and good camera.
This review is quite long, so if you are in a hurry skip to the end of it or just go by the 5 star score or title.Smartphones are something most of us now use more than desktops or laptops or even tablets. They won the lions share a few years back with the advent of larger screen sizes coupled with good browsing capabilities. The latter was also down to companies optimizing their websites for mobile browsing, using the next gen of html, 5 predominantly. Long time users of smartphones will recall frequently having to change browser setting to desktop and having to zoom in on the teeny words on a teeny screen.Google who of course are original pioneers of browsing search engines like Alphabet, its parent company, have made this phone entirely. I have used many brands of mobile and wanted to see what google could do.The phone was more than I'd usually pay, at 600 pounds about 100 or so more than my last one, but I had read the reviews, seen the mobile and decided it was probably worth the extra.I was not disappointed. This mobile has everything my previous models had that I loved, combined into one, which was high quality camera picures, fast response, both start up and in use such as browsing. There is only one snag which I will admit is a teensy one these days and I will explain that; the battery life is only about 1 day. Past mobiles I chose often had life of 1.5 to 2 days, which often formed the basis of my choosing them in the first place as I often travelled long distance without access to electricity. The reason it is not a big problem now is we have cheap mobile powerpacks, some are so slimline you can put them on the back of mobiles when needed such as in situations like camping, so the mobile is not larger or thicker than you want day to day, but on occasions when it is low you can use a powerpack. I reviewed one about 6 month as ago which is able to charge quickly 2 mid power mobiles so they have another days life which holds its charge well for use when you get to that point of needing a mobile charge. This mobile has a mid sized screen (not as big as my previous, the Motorola x play for example), and is so nuch more portable for my pocket or money belt when out and about but the screen is so clear I don't miss the extra size. The camera response is much better coupled with very high quality pictures. What I notice the most with it is the start up time is very quick. It is not really noticeable the start up phase, and is usable within a half minute or less. With previous mobiles of othe brands there would be tedious 1 to 2 minutes where nothing was possible, with a fancy screensaver supposed to keep you entertained. The Google has a brief small Google image, and thats that. No power wasted. This quick start up also means if you didn't mind not being contactable 24/7 you could have periods where you shut it down and start it up, such as a good use, when driving. This would save power in addition to your nerves when getting calls and messages and wondering who it was. No one wants points on their licence so easier to turn the mobile off (or on silent mode).I have had this mobile over a month (1 year now and still agree and now use and find the fingerprint reader fantastic for avoiding having to enter passwords) and feel I have enough knowledge of it and its capabilities that I can recommend it 100 percent to you if you can afford it and will want all the things I rold you about like fast start up, excellent picture quality, clear screen and fast browser response.

This phone is a legitimate Google Pixel, however it is definitely not brand new.
Over the weekend, I have lost my original Google Pixel so I decided to look for the exact same one on Amazon. I saw this page and it seemed relatively cheap so I bought it.The first thing to note is that the battery life is terrible, definitely not of a brand new phone. I've used two brand new pixels before (one was returned due to a defect and replaced), and it feels as if the phone has been used for 4-6 months at least. Secondly, the wires that come within the packaging aren't the original Google Pixel wires. I have those wires and can confirm that they are different. I've come to the conclusion that it is a refurbished phone and they have repackaged it and have tried to sell it as brand new.On the plus side, it is a Google Pixel and FOR NOW it is working fine. I have been reading forums online and I am afraid that it might stop functioning as well in a couple of weeks. I WILL be returning this if it starts to break down.

Best phone I've ever had but battery fails after 2 years - would not recommend
This is without doubt the best phone I've ever had - excellent camera, fast charge. Very user-friendly. It's also the most expensive phone I've ever had. I bought it in November 2017 for £600 and now in October 2019 the battery is so unreliable it can cut out at any moment even if it's at 50%. At such a high price it's shameful that it doesn't even last two years. Unfortunately because I bought it on Amazon I don't think Google will help me so I've learned my mistake and will not buy a phone on Amazon again.

Nice Phone — Not 2nd hand though!
Brilliant phone but returning because intermittent fault(keeps turning off). Other than that, really good phone even in 2019. They wanted to give me a £15 partial refund after I moaned a bit. Nice one, it cost more like £100 for a new battery. Not really acceptable condition if it turns off is it. I wouldn't go for the £140 option from these guys. Maybe the 190 but remember they seem to think intermittent faults are something the customer should put up with.

Waste of money
Broke in less than a year. Poor battery life kept getting worse. Phone would just die after about 50% battery life. Today I find the screen is cracked because the battery has swollen

The phone was well described with 12 months guarantee.
I really like this phone's speed of response, storage and Android 9. Even though announced 3 years ago, the Google Pixel, refurbished, is excellent value compared currently announced mobile phones.

Luckily I don't believe this phone is supported now
Maybe the one I bought was in a faulty batch but so many issues with basic telephone and screen functionality after stock updates. A big no no

Battery easily drained full of scratches. Not worth of lying this seller. They should give more description.
