MedelaStore and Feed Set - Breast Milk Storage bottles, Calma Teat, Breast Milk Storage Bags - BPA-Free

Lovely set of bottles that fits my Medela breast pump and includes a Calma teat.My baby came out of the hospital with such a bad case of nipple confusion that she couldn't nurse from my breast AT ALL. She didn't know how to suck on breasts and as such couldn't get any milk from them. The Calma teat helped her a bit in that it goes further into the mouth than the average bottle teat and requires a different kind of sucking action. It also prepares baby for what happens when the milk comes by using a large opening at the end of the teat rather than a pinprick one, so she gets used to large volumes in short bursts.It helped us a lot.

High quality as always by Medela. My kid is almost exclusively fed by my wife, but when it happens that I need to step in, these work flawlessly.The bottles are very good and work with the Medela pumps as you would expect. The Calma, as always, works very well (depends on the baby I guess).Recommended kit, very practical and functional for a good price. Hard to beat.

This bundle is definitely good value for money. The teat only draws milk if baby sucks, this means no chance of leakage! The teat design definitely helps mimic breastfeeding and releases milk to baby as he would get whilst feeding on the breast. Although one flaw I've found is that the teat sometimes gets blocked and you only notice after poor baby has been sucking really hard for some time but the milk level remains the same. I assume this problem happens because the hole that the milk passes through is a tiny pin prick hole which probably gets blocked up by milk sitting there for sometime. I've tried giving it a good wash with hot water, but not sure if this has helped. Overall the teat system is very quick and easy to clean which saves you time when washing bottles!

When my wife pumps we have been transferring to single use plastic pouches but with these bottles we can keep a few in rotation, clean them and reuse. It save a lot of waste as well

Really great set, the bottles could be easier to clean but the teet is so much better than other standard ones. The valve motion allows my baby to regulate what he is drinking, he is a strong sucker and needs this to control the milk. Really easy to use and sanitise too.

Smaller bottles for younger feeds, storage bags are great (don’t buy more until you need them!) medela Calma teets are fab, initially more expensive but don’t need to change them as baby gets older so better value.

Would really recommend these if bought any of the medela’s breast pumps . You gonna need this set for keeping your milk nice and fresh . Really nice and practical packaging also. Great value for the money 🙂
