What paint would be recommended to paint this white?

Metal paint will probably crack off the black springs and around the pivots anyway.

Would this fit a Blue Yeti microphone?

Yes, the Blue Yeti works fine with this stand. 100% fine. The threaded adapter is attached to the Microphone clip, which comes off, you use that to attach the Yeti to the stand. - It took me a few minutes to figure this out at first as I thought the Microphone clip was one solid piece... =D - You just have to be careful when tightening up the screws to ensure you don't damage anything. I would purchase another one if this one ever fails.

Will this work with an Audio Technica AT2020 without any nuts or shockmounts?

Yes I use the AT2020+ with the default mount you get with it. Really stable and good.
