Can you use gesso as a sealer / glue on mixed media e.g. To glue and seal paper can you stamp on it ?

It's opaque and dries that way so it's not to be used as a sealer. You can use it as glue but it takes 24 hours to dry and just remember, it's opaque white. It's a lot like white paint, once it's on something, chances are, you won't get it off without a struggle. You can stamp on it once it's dry but it's not as permeable as ordinary paper surface so inks and watercolours are likely to just sit on top (but still dry)
