The actual label inside it says: Fabric: 100% Cotton. Lining: 82% Polyester, 18% Cotton. That means that the whole of the outer cap, including both sides of the peak, is 100% Cotton fabric - while the inside lining is a mainly polyester mix. Hat linings are very often made from a different material to the main part of the hat. I hope that clears that up for you?
