Lasted 13 years
I’m only now coming back to write this review as I need to order another one. After three children and problems with my hips, this pillow has been in constant use for 13 years and I love it. Only ordering a replacement as the insides are a bit clumped up . Now ordering my second one.

Dubious at first - now I love it!
When it first arrived I was slightly taken aback by how PLUMP it was, and was slightly miffed by the dawning realisation that I'd either have source some bigger v-shaped pillowcases or make my own, as the cases that fit my old - positively flat by comparison - v-shaped pillow were now straining at the seams and popping their press-studs. I also was worried I'd get a sore neck from being that much higher up, being perched atop the new superabundance of a pillow. So far, so inauspicious. BUT - the pillow turned out to be so much better than my last one, and instead of having a cricked neck, I awoke to experience NO neck stiffness ... something that wasn't always the case with my old pillow. Several days on, and it's the same as on the first occasion; awaking feeling rested and comfortable. It's also a lot better when used to prop myself up when reading in bed, as my bedhead is a strange, short design which leaves quite a step back to the wall, and which this lovely puffy and supportive pillow smoothes out admirably. Despite now facing replacing all my v-pillowcases, I recommend this product whole-heartedly and would not wish to part with it!

Very Good.
I've bought three of these pillows now, I've also got some for my parents who are equally impressed. They are life changing. I'm not sure why everyone doesn't have one or why they aren't more commonly known about. It makes sitting in bed a complete joy as you are fully supported and lying down it gives good support. I find that on its own its slightly too low and with my arm under it slightly too high but have combated this by putting a very thin normal pillow underneath and it works well for me. That's just personal preference. I have noticed after having them for a couple of months that the filling is starting to become slightly pulled apart which is my only gripe with this product. I'd imagine in 6 months time it will be substantially worse but I can't say for sure. I have had a V Pillow that was half the price from a different seller and this one is much higher quality. I think by design the filling will struggle to stay compact and in place but its something to bear in mind.

V.ery Good
I had shoulder surgery and could only sleep propped up. No matter how I banked my normal pillows I could not get support or comfortable enough to sleep more than 3 hours at a time. So, I bought this on the offchance it would help. And it did. Propped up against my normal pillows gave both comfort and support enough to get 6 continuous hours sleep. I am now able to sleep lying flat and use this pillow on its own. It is great to snuggle between the V and rest my head on the pillow. it is so comfortable and gives the right amount of support. So, I am highly delighted as, having bought it as a temporary solution, I am actually using it more permanently. Delivery service was great, well packaged to protect product. Also, I took advantage and purchased the pillowcase at same time. This is lovely quality and highly delighted with this too. Wished I had bought two, so have a spare when the first one goes in wash, but I did not expect to continue using it.

Very good and very versatile
Bought after hip surgery when I needed to sleep on my back only for six weeks. This gave me a lot better neck support when I was on my back - with normal pillows my head would drop to one side and I would wake with a crick or pain in my neck. This V shaped pillow supports the sides of my head when it drops slightly to one side and holds it comfortably at a reduced angle to that of using normal pillows. It also helps when you need to sleep more upright than usual so I would recommend it if you have a chest infection or condition where lying flat makes you cough or become breathless. It is also good to prop yourself up when reading in bed. I also used it under the knees to keep my bad leg in one place. Very good purchase.

Is it a joke?
Be warned - it's probably smaller than you expect. Despite several reviews here which suggest that this is unusually big (because they struggled to cram it into their existing cases), it is by far the smallest V-pillow I've ever encountered. When I first unwrapped it, I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry. It was like the scene in Spinal Tap when they realise they've built the Stonehenge set 18 inches (rather than 18 feet) high, and have to employ midgets to dance round it. I won't need to employ a midget to use my pillow, because it's basically a perfect fit for my small (3kg) cat. No doubt it's made of the finest materials, and is certainly very plump. But I was hoping for something I could wrap myself around while sleeping, rather than just a pad upon which to rest the back of my skull.

Bad to wash
Although I bought this last november as spares in bedding cupboard just been using it the past month. I normally buy Adams linens and will continue to do so after buying this. Its very full and hard to lie on, great if using as a back rest not a pillow. Wears down after a month or so. Then I washed it. Omg. The filling went into clumps and took forever to get some semblence of shape back. This doesnt happen with adam pillows. So not a good experience and would not recommend for nightly use as a bed pillow. Recommend as a chair sit up pillow, but will be useless for that after first wash on 60c.

Good quality and very comfortable.
I bought this for my son who recently had double jaw surgery. During recovery he has to sleep in a raised up position on his back, so I got him a wedge pillow and this v-shaped pillow to go on top. He also has a couple of normal pillows in between for just the right elevation. The v- shaped pillow supports his head and neck very comfortably, and cradles him so that he doesn't accidentally roll on to his side while sleeping. It has just the right balance between firm and soft, and it it always springs back. My son likes the comfort of the v-pillow so much that he says he would like to stick with it even after he has fully recovered from surgery.
