It looks really good with great designs. It makes a nice change from your standard embroidery patterns.

I had lost the original copy and I liked it so much that I wanted to replace it. The designs on the whole are simple. The idea of using a limited colour palette when choosing the threads makes it easier to concentrate without getting too concerned about what areas need different colours.

I love this book, its even better than I expected. I've got other embroidery books by Japanese designers and they never fail to produce exquisite designs. I'm looking forward to trying the designs out in this book. As the motifs are small I think they are good for beginners as well as the more experienced who perhaps haven't done any embroidery for a while.

I don’t think I have done any embroidery since I was at school, but I love textile arts and thought I would take a look at this book. These are good, simple, modern designs and ever since I bought the book I have been itching to see whether I still like doing embroidery. I have made one item, and it looks good, a beret I look forward to wearing. I cannot wait to start some of the other projects, or apply these designs to clothing or household items, the possibilities are endless.

Not a bad little book, some nice patterns, was worth getting

A big change from twee regular embroidery books, lots of great design ideas.

This book has just arrived through my letterbox. Should you be an embroidery expert or just beginning this is the book for you. The designs initially could appear simplistic but with a little imagination, they could be a wonderful source of inspiration for every type of embroidery. Would make a wonderful Christmas present.

A lovely book by a talented Artist. I have used it several times as inspiration for projects.
