I revise my earlier review
I wrote a 5 star review on this because it was working at the time. I have to revise my review because the adaptor has since stopped working after a few weeks. I don't know why it has stopped working but it no longer serves its purpose.By the way, the adapter plug has a locking catch that can be frustrating if one does not know about it. The plug locks in place by two spring catches on the top or bottom. You need to press the lever on the top or bottom of the plug to pull it out of its socket on the computer. I was tugging violently to get it out before I found this out.

Works as expected!
I originally discounted this item, figuring it was a bit expensive compared to some of the ostensibly comparable items available. However, having bought an iClever® Black Display Port DisplayPort Male to VGA Female Adapter Converter, which failed miserably, I came back and bought this instead.The colour cast problems I had with the other item are gone -- this displays identical colours to the primary monitor, and also copes with Windows 7 hibernation, which the iClever didn't.This is definitely a premium sort of product -- the packaging's better, there's a QR Code with a link to the product specification, the Displayport plug is latching, so that it doesn't fall out.All in all, it works as expected, and I can't ask for much more than that. It's more expensive than others, but worth the money for the quality.

Lasted a couple of weeks.
I bought one of these and worked well for a couple of weeks now the colours on screen are messed up and when I connect via 2 DVI connections & DP.. As soon as the DP connector is plugged in it disconnects the DVI's and the messed up colours appear again. When it did work Eyefinity was amazing 3 x27In Acer IPS monitors. Nw it's just fit for the bin. Waste of money.. I should've bought a better quality adapter. I suggest you do too.

bought this to set up an eyefinity gaming rig. it works wonderfully and supports upto 1920x1200 so thats above "HD" resolution. really good product got this on next day delivery. after quite a confusing search online for compatible active adaptors i concluded this to be the best, for my needs, and it works brilliantly.
