Ultra Glow Original Loose Bronzing Powder

Like another reviewer, I first bought this product about 15-20 years ago and it has lasted all this time. That's ok if you just keep your brush clean. Granted I don't wear makeup every day and I only use bronzer on my cheeks, but even so it is fantastic value for money. I also put a faint amount down the bridge of my nose in summer. That gives a natural sun-kissed look as that is where the sun hits. I have never, however, used Ultraglow bronzer all over my face which I know some do. With Ultraglow bronzer you should use just a small amount on your brush. One reviewer complained about it leaving a dollop on her face and so on. That's because she was doing it wrong, I think. I put the bronzer on a good sized brush, Ultra Glow Large Professional Retractable Brush , tap off the excess back into the container, and sweep the brush a little first on the back of my hand. Only then do I apply it to my face. I use ultraglow bronzer all year around when my skin is paler or darker. I doubt Ultraglow is right for someone with 'alabaster' skin or very pale skin. Someone else complained that it doesn't stay on. Well, no, a powder won't stay on your face if you have no moisture on your skin, no foundation or something on which the powder can adhere. I always use a L'Oreal 'True Match' foundation when going out (I have different colours which I can blend according to my skin colour as it changes during the year) which I believe helps lock in moisture but you can also use it over a moisturiser. The trick is not to have too much on the brush at one time and gradually build up the colour until you are satisfied with the result. By the way, I'm in my 60s and many think I am still in my 40s. I have used ultra glow loose powder bronzer for many years. It gives a sun-kissed glow to my face & neck. Sits comfortably on the skin, does not clog the pores & removes easily with cleanser. Excellent value for money it lasts ages because the gauze pot cover allows only a little powder through. It does rub off onto clothing but does not stain. Ots scent is very subtle, I have not had any problem despite having very sensitive skin.

Good classic product but need to apply very lightly as its hard not to get too much on the brush and consequently end up with too much on your face. My mother ha used this product all her life and loves it.

I love Ultra Glow so much. I've tried so many bronzers by so many different company's over the years but nothing and I mean "NOTHING" compares to it. I started buying this in the late 80's when it was only sold in Boots and I was gutted when they stopped selling it. So when I saw it for sale on Amazon I couldn't believe it. I'd just typed it in the search bar one day not really believing any search results would come up for it and was whooping with glee when it came up, (I know, I know, I need to get a life 😄), but you have to understand if you've ever tried Ultra Glow that is how amazing the stuff is. So I ordered it immediately and when it arrived it did not disappoint. So now all my other bronzers are just sitting in my make up box unused. It gives such a beautiful subtle glow and isn't orangey like so many other bronzers. You only need a tiny amount as it is very pigmented. The tub lasts ages but be careful as it goes everywhere if you don't open it gently. There's a sieve inside but as some of it covers the sieve you have to push the excess through it. What I do is put a tiny bit inside the lid and swirl it around with my brush. Try it out. x

I used this product in the 80's and was happy to find it again. Nit the same as current bronzer as it has some red tinge as well as a glow. Lasts all day. A little goes a long way as well.

Love this product. I'm ashamed to say I bought some when I was 16 and at 44 it had just run out!!!!! Ok so it got lost in the bottom of a packing case for a few years too! Kinda thought it wouldn't still be about! It's perfect! Use a small amount with a big brush and get using! Great for use as eye shadow too! Or over your body too for a lovely sun kissed effect. This is not orange or pink but a lovely brown/bronze colour. Highly recommend!!!!

I like this product as I had used it before in the nineties and lasts a really long time. I thought it had gone out of production and when I found it again on amazon I was really pleased. It also has a sieve fitted which takes the loose powder to the bottom of container. This makes it easier to use as you only need a very very small amount on the brush so it very economical and can give you a really lovely glow.
