JVL Honeycomb Outdoor Rubber Ring Entrance Floor Door Mat 40 x 60 cm

I wanted to make a Snuffle mat for my Boxer. My daughter was making one too so I cut it in half which was easy with large scissors (bought from Lidl) and then cut lots of 5cm x 25cm strips of material (slightly stretchy and not too thick.). I then tied and knotted them threading through the holes. It worked a treat so well pleased with the result.

Good quality, as you might expect from a shop, which was a surprise. supple.

Had one of these before for front door. Left outside in the elements lasts for around 2 years before it deteriorates.

Strong and robust door mat, well made rubber mat

I really love my door mat. I use it for my back garden entrance and it it exactly what I needed! Before that I had a normal door mat, the fabric ones, and it was awful, because when it gets wet it doesn't do much for wiping my feet. And not only, it was making my shoes with wet soils, so I was literally skating inside my kitchen and I was about to fall twice! This one is rubber only and has these holes, which makes it easy to dry out and wipes the shoes soils much better, so I don't slide inside the house and to bring all the leaves and grass from outside.

I wanted a 100% rubber mat and not a plastic one, which is why I purchased this one.It is ok but not sturdy enough and is too lightweight for what I wanted as a front door mat, as it slips/moves around on the paving.

Bought two for the front and rear doors. This design is much better for outside as it catches most of the mud and sand compared to other mats with different designs. I've previously bought outside mats with similar design, however this is much thinner than those. Since this is thin and light than those, it tends to move. I would not hesitate to pay bit more for a thicker model with same design. Wonder why everything compromise on quality rather than having options to choose according to the budget. Hope this is helpful.
