Will this filter fit the lay z spa Palm Springs?

yes these filter will fit the Bestways lay z spa Palmsprings

Just ordered these but they are slightly shorter than the old ones and the internal hole is 50mm where my old ones are 40mm any ideas which ones i nee

Funny enough, I initially found mine slightly too big for my filter holder, but got them in after a squeeze, and after a day they softend up and went in easier once cleaned. However haven't had issues with the hole, should be compatible with all lay-z spa models, which spa model do you have?

Do they have an internal screw feature

The filters fit into a casing that screws into the layz spa vent. You unscrew the casing, remove the old filter and pop in a clean one, then screw the casing back on 👍
