how are the pandan leaves packed and how long do they keep fresh

The quantity is quite large and is packed in a clear plastic bag. I washed and dried them and cut them into the size of pieces called for in the recipes I use, then put them in an airtight bag in the freezer. They keep perfectly well like that.
