Excellent little mixer,very quiet when using,

Bought this back in December but wanted to wait a few months before writing a review to make sure it was robust. I wanted one of these mainly for kneading bread as baking is a new obsession of mine. I have to say that I couldn't be more impressed. The dough hooks make kneading so easy, the dough doesn't climb up them and they mix everything properly. I wanted this particular mixer because of the wattage as I didn't want it to be under powered. It absolutely rips through the thickest of doughs right from speed 1 to the top speed (I think it's 5). The manual has a bread recipe that uses 1KG of flour so it's more than enough for the half kilo loaves I make. There's also no time limit on usage when making dough like other mixers. I've used this weekly, often twice a week for the last 12 weeks and the motor is showing no signs of wear. I've used the beaters too which foam up eggs and batters really well.It's really quiet, light, smooth and incredibly powerful - honestly, don't hesitate in getting one of these.

I had my previous Bosch hand mixer for 9 years and in constant use. I replaced it with a cheaper item on Amazon which had such a fast first speed that I was always wearing the flour and limited to a cable length which made it almost impossible to use. Ejecting the beaters was almost impossible too. So was forced to make a second purchase returning to Bosch. This machine has everything my original mixer had but even better, the machine itself feels good quality and a nice weight. The cake beaters are even more robust and the slow start up speed is a pleasure to use. You are fully in control of this mixer from start to finish with its powerful yet quiet motor and precise ejector button. I am not given to awarding 5 stars on a new machine and have knocked one star off for the slightly shortened length of cable compared to my last Bosch Hand Mixer. Come on Manufacturers how much does an extra 30 cms of electric cable cost to ensure manoeuvrability and safety in use. The booster button mechanism on this new model can easily be pressed by mistake. This was also a feature of my old mixer. However, given all the other pluses I do not think it a deal breaker as you get used to it.

I bought this after my sister decided to have my old Bosch one. I know it isn't the cheapest (neither was my previous one, which was a slightly older model), but I did a lot of research on Amazon, read every single review of the most popular mixers and decided on the Bosch ones.. wasn't an easy decision as the others were significantly cheaper, but have not had cause to regret it. The mixer is extremely quiet but powerful, and whips egg whites into stiff peaks in no time at all. It feels so good quality and reliable when using it, and it's very easy to put together and operate too

I'd had my previous mixer for a very long time; in fact i once saw the same model in a museum. It was a gift from my mother-in-law the Christmas before I married her son, and it died on the day of her funeral 49 years later. I was extremely anxious about replacing it and spent several dithering over the choices available. I am beyond pleased with this mixer. The beaters are much slimmer than my old ones and cut through ingredients more smoothly and quickly plus it's so quiet. I no longer have to ensure I've closed the kitchen door for fear of torturing my husband's ears. Yes, it's expensive for a hand held, but as far as I'm concerned definitely worth it.

Works very well, I was nervous about buying after seeing some bad reviews. But those must have been defected items because my Bosch hand mixer works incredibly well, has a good amount of settings, and best of all it is so quiet compared to all the other hand mixers i used to own. It's perfect so glad I got it.

Very good handy appliance which helps me to whisk the meringue very well. Easy to use

Very comfortable to use , very quiet , not as fast a top speed as the mixer it replaced , suprising as it has a more powerful motor , perhaps more torque , not tested that as yet . Very well madeA quality item , I expect to use it for many years
