Tight and sturdy
It’s super sturdy, the clips inside hold the magazines extremely tight, which is a pro and a con. The pro is that you’ll probably never lose a magazine in the field, the con is that it’s so extremely tight that at times I have to fight against the clips to draw my magazines for a reload. After some use the clips loosen up a bit so the problem solves itself, but definitely give it a bit of use before you use these in the field or your magazines will be stuck

Esstac KYWI knockoff… and it’s GREAT!
I was a little skeptical at first with the lack of reviews on this product. Nevertheless, I decided to take a risk and purchase it. I am happy to say that it is a great product for the price. I personally own an Esstac 2+1 that I use on my battle belt. The pistol mags and the 5.56 mag slide in and out perfect. No additional work needed. On this product… there is additional work needed. Initially the mags were extremely tight…the inserts obviously are made of some plastic, NOT Kydex. I fixed the issue very simply, I took out the inserts and began heating the parts with the bends (see photo) it only took a couple minutes each insert. I ran the flame over the corner and i felt it getting easier and easier to open up. After the corner was hot enough to wiggle back and fourth, I stuck a mag in and set it aside to cool. Rinse and repeat with each insert. There was another area that I needed to heat up as well, it’s about halfway up the insert. I heated the inside and outside for a couple minutes as well. Once again, stick a mag in and zip tie the ends. Once cooled, stick the inserts back in and the mags will come out MUCH easier. Now all my mags come in and out with the same ease. In summation: If you want something that works right out of the box… buy an “Esstac” If you don’t mind a little bit of work and you are handy, this will work just as good as the name brand stuff. (At a fraction of the cost) All in all, I am a happy customer and glad I decided to take a risk on these.

Excellent mag holder
This mag holder was exactly what I was looking for! Mags fit nice and snug. Takes a little to wear it in, a little too snug at first but gets better over time. Also I like the straps that lock in to molle or belt. They’re very sturdy and way better than other straps that just have a snap button. Will probably get another set

Good retention with Pmags....a little too good.
Quality seems good. I was impressed at first. Retention is a litle over the top if using P mags. This would probably work very well on a battle belt. On a chest rig, or a plate carrier though, the retention with Pmags is a little too good. Its hard to get a one hand magazine draw. You'll about clock yourself in the chin pulling out a magazine. Im hoping the the pouch's purchase on magazines loosens a little with repeated use, but not too much. For now, its a tad too tight. But its seems like a nice product for the money.

Easy to use
At first it was stiff and didn’t move alto but after inserting mags it became loose and Easier the straps go thru the webbing and click together the quality is really nice and stitched together strong the black piece is replaceable because over time it will where out but you can pick up replacements the mags fit snug and can’t fall out this gives you a minimalist appearance because you won’t be dealing with strings or Velcro straps it’s simple to use and probably the best pouches I have

SECURES MAGS WITH GREAT QUALITY
Very easy to use and easy to attach to my gun belt. The quality is very good and it fits nice. It keeps my mags secure, I would say it is a little hard to pull the mags out at first so that is a problem when it comes to speed reloading; however, with some uses the mags will start to slide in n out easier and still be very secure. I’m happy to have this product.

Loving these pouches
Loving these pouches. Very secure fit on my iotv, was worried it would sag or fit loosely but holds well and the magazines don't move around or drag the pouches down. Especially when placing them in or pulling one out. The retention clips have velcro which makes it even more secure, although at first it might be a bit tight but over extended use they'll get loose. Overall happy with the quality and design of these pouches. Would definitely need another 1!

Easily adjusted the retention with a heat gun
Hey guys, I’ve seen a few people talking about the retention being too strong, especially with PMAGs. This is true, it’s a little too tight if you’re in the business of doing quick reloads like I am. A cheap $15-$20 heat gun off Amazon will do the trick. I simply removed the inserts and put a mag in them. After that, I heated up the side that did not have velcro for 30-60 seconds. This loosened up the plastic to give me solid retention but still be able to pull the mags quick. As for the heat gun, I’ve had multiple projects and jobs around the house where it’s come in handy so definitely a worthwhile investment. Hope this helps

Fresh out the packaging, these mag clips are really tight. Needed two hands to get the clips in and out. Ended up leaving mags in them for a few days and occasionally replacing them or giving it a wiggle. Works a charm now. Tight enough so I don’t have to worry about them falling out but not so much that I can’t use one hand to operate whilst reloading.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to esstac mag pouches. Seems really good quality so far, and I cannot differentiate between my buddies esstac and mine. No loose threads, good stitching. Camo Pattern looks good. Like others have said, there's absolutely no issues with retention. This puppies are tigh. But just like the esstac mag pouches, if you pull out the polymer inserts, take a blow dryer to them to bend them out a bit, and then let them cool down with an empty magazine in them, and they will work great. Now just gotta see how long they last!

The quality of this was much better than expected and the magazines I have fit perfectly and yet are easily removed with just a small tug. The attachment on the back is very secure also and doesn’t move very much once on.
