The secret flavor for pizza dough
Love this product! No store bought pizza dough for me! So easy to make your own… this product adds the extra flavor to put your pizza dough over the top. I know you’ll love it.

New version of the recipe, cheddar-based instead of romano and rosemary.
It looks like they changed the recipe for this somewhat. The previous version was very heavy on romano cheese and rosemary; this one is cheddar-based with buttermilk powder and spices. Either way, it adds some flavor and umami to the crust. I generally add an amount equal to the salt in the recipe and then maybe half the salt on top of that. The previous version was really salty; if you have that one, probably less than half the salt.

Enhances Flavor
This is the second time I purchased this product. I have noticed that this item outdates very quickly. As the container contains more than I can use before it expires in one month, I may be searching for a more cost effective alternative. Flavor is very good, authentic pizzeria taste. I used with King Arthur pizza flour.

Great flavor and easy to use!
I've made pizza crust several times and added the flavoring. It has a great taste and is easy to use. Just go online to the King Arthur site and look for pizza dough recipes. Follow the recipe and it turns out great!

Too small for the money.
It's a very disappointing small 4oz container, I definitely will not buy this again, too expensive for the amount your getting.

Really good if a bit pricey
This stuff does make for an excellent pizza dough (I prefer using it in King Author's Sourdough Pizza recipe), but there are two issues. The first is the price. This is not cheap, and while I like it, it is not a necessity. If you want a good pizza on the cheap, then give this a miss. The other issue is with the marketing. Who in their right mind thought "Pizza Dough Flavor" was a good name. It makes it sound artificial, calling it a seasoning might be better in a society that is trying to move away from natural and artificial flavors.
