Q: Can a Triton Seville 9.5 kw showere easily replace a Triton Opal 9.5 shower?

Not sure what the set up for the opal is but obviously you can handle a 9.5 as you've had it before. In terms of the plumbing, the Seville has a few different points of entry so there's a really good chance it'll suit. I know the Seville is designed to be an ideal replacement shower as it can work on a few different set ups. I replaced a 9.5 mira shower and the seville was no problem at all. Can't say 100% but I'd be confident. Check the reviews. Bound to find one that'll confirm it for you. As you're replacing a triton I'd be surprised if it won't. The Seville is for mains fed systems. Just so you know. Mine is in a few months now and thankfully it's been excellent so far. Good luck.

Q: Is 6mm cable large enough for this 10.5 kW shower

A 6mm cable will overheat with a 10.5kw shower, with possible fire risk. You must use a 10mm cable and a suitably rated circuit breaker (MCB)(usually 50 amp) with a residual current device (RCD). If you are unsure of the wiring you have currently installed, consult a qualified electrician. There are various online blogs which also offer advice.

Q: My water pressure is high when I run cold, when I run hot it does slow, is this my old shower or my water pressure?

I have just purchased the triton seville 10.5kw shower, which I find very good. I wouldn't say I have exceptional water pressure here, but it works very satisfactory. In the manual it says that increase in the shower temperature will decrease the flow of water through the shower making it warmer. Likewise if you decrease the temperature it will increase the flow of water. Hope this is useful info for you.

Q: is it compatible with a combi boiler home?

We have a combi boiler which feeds the downstairs shower & the Triton electric unit in the upstairs shower, everything works well providing you maintain mains water pressure.
