Comfortable exercise while watching the TV!
A brilliant bike!Really comfortable to use whilst watching TV! I suffer with neck pain, so this is perfect for me.As others have said, the instructions for connecting the tension cable could be easier. But I headed to YouTube and found a video (not for this bike, just for connecting tension cables for exercise bikes in general) and it walked me through it in about 30 seconds. I just searched for “Configuring Tension Cable & Sensor Wires Exercise Bikes”.Having read through the reviews, I wasn’t expecting a lot of resistance, but I was pleasantly surprised. The highest setting hurts my legs! So there’s definitely good resistance there. The lower settings are nice for a slower pace.Overall, very happy with it!

Going strong after a year but seat....
I love the bike, its been a great upgrade from an under desk cycle that I was using for a year.Only two little gripes. It is starting to feel a little grindy and the occasional knock from the ball bearings. Also I must take issue with the "deep comfort" seat in the listing. The seat i have has about 2 cms of foam padding on a flat seat. Its as hard as heck. I have a folded blanket and a memory foam cushion on mine otherwise it make my backside numb!Other than those niggles I love it and its made a huge difference to my work out routine.

Initial review... Easy assembly, just don't rush. But watch your ball bearings ;-)
UPDATE 14.9.20.... I've been using the bike every day since it's assembly. Basically.... it's been great. I'm in my 60s and didn't want to overdo it, so started at setting 1, doing 5km every day, and over the weeks moving to setting 2. It is making a difference to my leg strength and circulation, pulse rate pushing up to 140bpm... so a good cardio workout as far as I'm concerned. The bike has remained solid, a bit if a squeak from the seating, but checking and tightening up the bolts after a few weeks helped. The seat is comfy and supportive. The front handles are definately useful, to hang on to when you want to give it a "bit of welly" and get some speed up.I continue to recommend this bike. Oh... the issue with the "crown jewels"? I sorted it with wearing loose fitting pants and adjusting one's assets accordingly ;-)MY ORIGINAL REVIEW.... Firstly, I ordered this on Tues 11.8.20, it arrived VERY quickly on Thurs 13.8.20 (today). Everything in one heavy cardboard box. I opened the box to find the assembly instructions to have a read before I unpacked anything further.First thing I read, manual said max weight is 100kg, this was 10kg less than advertised. I emailed the seller via Amazon and even before the ink was dry on the last full stop, I got a reply (impressive service!). They confirmed the manual was wrong and the weight limit is indeed 110kg as advertised.Next.... assembly..... took about 90 minutes.... unpacking, checking contents, laying out the bits and comparing with what the manual says. All bits and tools were there but WARNING.... some of the screws needed for assembly are NOT with the bag of bolts, washers, nuts, etc. They are already in the item to be fitted, e.g. the seat back and base, the computer, etc. So it might seem there isn't enough bolts, etc... but there are! Also, there was an assembly glitch, when I tried to slide the back bracket into the main frame, there was a lump of plastic stopping the back bracket sliding in (see photo)... but just a careful shave with a chisel cleared it and allowed the back bracket to engage with the adjusting knob. This also highlights the need to be careful during assembly so that you don't catch or screw through the pulse sensor wires. It's very easy for the wires to get in the way of bolts as you assemble the sections. So be aware if a section you are securing has the sensor wires travelling through it. Just take assembly slow and steady! So now it is fully assembled, the computer is set to kilometres and there is no obvious way to change it to miles, but that is no big deal in my opinion (it's easy to convert km to m in your head if you really need to).A little test confirmed the pulse sensors work well, good seating position for me.... 108kg, 6feet 4inches, 34inch inside leg.... and my heels (size 11UK feet) do not catch the ground during use.I'm looking forward to proper use soon, using the guide supplied for warm-up, exercise and cool down, and to provide updates to this review. But one thing I will report right now..... gentlemen.... Testes .... I've noticed they tend to jiggle against each other during the cycling. This could end up quite painful I think!!! But I'm sure a little adjustment and/or wearing decent shorts will solve this.... but I'll let you know ;-)

Comfortable bike can be used whilst you work, browse the web and watch tv.
I originally bought this for my late father who had MND and was becoming increasingly immobile. Alas he passed away within a few months of purchase. I started using it for catchup TV where I would cycle for 3 hours whilst catching up on my favourite shows. Pretty soon I started using it whenever I was watching TV. It provides light exercise and burns calories - I estimate about 200-300 calories per hour which soon adds up. I then thought about combining it with a height adjustable desk to create a cycle desk, allowing me to exercise while I work. Combining this bike with https://www.amazon.co.uk/Relaxdays-Adjustable-Lecturn-Notebooks-Projector/dp/B01M4OOO84/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1503041017&sr=8-3&keywords=Relaxdays+Laptop+Table worked perfectly. In fact you end up with a very comfortable cycle desk. Using the bike for work, I get about 3-4 hours of exercise a day without even leaving my desk - about 600 to 1200 calories a day! An excellent way to lose weight and build leg muscle. Make sure you adjust the seat position so that you still have a bend in the knee when your leg is extended. If your knee starts clicking then your seat position is wrong, or you are splaying your legs or your cadence is insufficient. It was tricky putting the bike together - but only because I was doing it wrong.

Bike is sturdy enough, but the speedometer doesn't work distance doesn't work. So you can ride it but don't expect to know how well your doing at all.But on the plus side the one part that did work other than. The pedals turning was the BPM pulse reader so you know if you need to slow down or not other than that I'm disappointed to say the least. People don't have money to spare these days and this is just another disappointment buying from Amazon.Since I posted this the pulse stopped working as well as I was asked to make sure it was connected properly which I did then sent the photos as I was asked. It's connected correct just not working. I've sent all photos to staff who have contacted me. Asking me for all these photos. What they do with all this information I do not know.
