Rustins Pure Turpentine 300ml

Bought this after scouring YouTube as to why my shoe polish kept cracking in half an being wasted. So now I add a thimble of this to my shoe polish tin. Now my shoe cloth glides over the polish now and my polish lasts a lot longer. Great stuff

It's the time of year when I need to re-oil our hardwood driveway gates and teak garden furniture. This stuff is excellent as a thinner for the oil that gives it a non-sticky consistency that dries within 24 hours. Mixed in a 3:7 ratio with linseed oil this has helped to keep our gates in good condition for the last five years. I give everything a quick sand and wipe down to remove dirt and debris before applying. As long as the ratio isn't exceeded, the mixture is applied thinly in a couple of coats, and allowed to dry fully between layers, I have had no issues with tackiness or failing to dry properly.Reasonable price, and online availability helped out when I couldn't find proper turpentine (only a turpentine substitute, that referred to brush cleaning, but not other purposes) in local DIY stores.

Good turpentine, works well for what I need it for. Absolutely stinks but turpentine always does - I would highly advise to use an aspirator if being exposed to it for more than a few seconds as the fumes damage the lungs.

I take this internally so it was important for me to get a good quality product that gets the right results. This is that product for me :)

However, because of the plastic bottle, it was rather smelly when it arrived, due to very slight leakage. Washed the bottle and product was perfect
