Ernie Ball Skinny Top Heavy Bottom Nickel Wound Sets, .010 - .052, Bundle of 3 Sets

Use these on my Epiphone SG. They sound fantastic, far better than the worn strings that were sat on my guitar from the store, and I instantly noticed a difference. I changed them about 3 months ago and I play every day, sometimes for several hours at a time, and so far none of the strings look worn nor do they sound dull at all. The strings work perfectly for drop tunings as the low e string retains enough tension to be in D or even as low as B, whilst the higher strings retain the bright sound you only get with smaller gauges. This said, I still sometimes tune down half a step and it sounds perfect. The strings bend great, and I have had no breakages or problems with this.

Best range there is. I once played in a band and this string, with the JCM 900 and a single cut PRS did everything I could ever ask for other than tube themselves. Great bottom, great top end cut, great middle grip, just a great string with a great ring. Used them since i got to a reasonable level and my dad stopped buying me D’ddario 9’s.

Changed to these after years of using EB "Super Slinky's" (9's). These are great strings, with a more "robust" Top E.

Amazing set of strings. You can tune lower and have a proper heavy metal sound on your electric guitar. Opens up a new world for you. Only thing, if you want to tune very low like an A1 it isn't perfect. If you want to play for an example Korn songs, the strings will buzz a bit. Anything higher is perfectly doable.

So I play black metal in drop C# with these babies, and they give me just the right feel. Not too tight, so trem picking is easy, and maintain a great sound for ages. Love these strings. Can't rate them high enough. Also love the smell they have new out the packet!

My favorite strings so far! No complaints! I just keep buying these. It happens to be what Adam Jones uses (if I'm not mistaken) with Tool. When I found out I had to stick to these, especially when playing their songs.
