Making Wine: Learn How To Make Wine With 190 Easy Homemade Wine Recipes

Generally I found it disappointing especially when compared to CJJJ Berry. One of the main issues I have is that all the recipes say 'bottle after 14 days' now that I know a little about wine making this is not correct. The recipes however are quite good and can be tinkered with to suit your own tastes.I also found the tone a bit strange on occasions. The author seemed at times to be putting people down and claiming how right he was and others were all wrong.I would advise to purchase it however but not in isolation more as an addition to other books on wine making as there is the occasional gem of wisdom

A lot of good info, but not well organised, so makes a confusing read for a beginner. However we have made very successful Plum, Damson and Elderberry, drinkable two months from starting, and much nicer than any grape wine we have ever bought. Sadly can't remember whether the recipe came from this book or off the Internet. Because it gave two complete novices somewhere to start, and the confidence to give winemaking a go, it deserves three stars and a thank you.

Good diy wine making book. Recipes and how to make ideas

This could so easiily be an excellent source of reference. It's written by someone who clearly has a lot of experience making home made wine and who writes in an authoritative and confident manner. Each stage in the process is clearly and carefully explained and there are some useful recipes which I shall enjoy trying. But, and for me this is a big but, there is no index in the back so its use as a quick access help with problems or questions disappears. It's such a shame because it could have been so good.

Good book lots of easy to understand recipies

A good book for a novice - lots of recipes and explanations!

If im honest I have no idea if this is a good book or not it was bought as a present for someone who I am no longer in touch with. However it was packaged great and delivered next day which was fantastic. From the quick flick through I gave it it appeared to be simple to follow and give you all the hints and tips you would need not knowing anything about home brewing.

Not tried any of the recipes yet but they look great and I can't wait to get started
