They are zinc coated, not stainless steel. Washers are rigid enough, not like other flimsy ones. So, they do the job.

They seem to be good quality but its so anoying is 99 instead of 100. Counted them 2 times. My OCD cant let this slide and you get 4 stars, more for the price that is double compared to others but at least they are good quality.

These have a thousand uses and should be in every |DIY'ers tool box.

All around the washers are quiet good, used for my shower restoration to secure wedi boards, I ran out af Jackoboard galvanised washers and needed a dozen more, this was the best deal I could find. There is only one thing that disappointed me, the size of the center hole where the screw goes is too big so the hardiebacker screw that I am using some time go straight through, so better check your screw before buy
