Was suitable for gas hob .
Simple to use . Would be a better product if it came with male to male adaptor .

Worked a treat
Great item, no soldering required just plumbers tape and two spanners, really easy to fit, got it checked by my gas engineer mate and he said I did a good job, so if I can fit it anyone can.

Well made but my plumbers not keen.
This looks great on the advert and when it arrived it seemed like the answer to my problems. However when the hob was installed in my new kitchen my plumber would not use it saying they are not approved for my use. I think he may of been mistaken but I still have it and it seems a well made item for the situation I brought it for, and that is why I would still give it 4 Stars.

Missing bits
Unfortunately did not come with the self amalgamating tape advertised and as stated in the instructions. A suitable fibre washer would have been a useful addition too.

I felt it was not safe . After fitting the pipe it pulled off when refitting the hob.
I felt it was not safe . The pipe pulled out far too easily.
