Useful addition for the Victron MPPT controller to enable efficient battery charging based on voltage and temperature.By measuring voltage at the battery bank terminals, errors arising from voltage-loss due to cable resistance are avoided - guaranteeing the correct charge-voltage. For lead batteries, battery temperature data is used to adjust the charge-voltages: cold batteries require an increased charge-voltage, whereas hot batteries require a decreased charge-voltage. Adds bluetooth connectivity to a non-bluetooth Victron MPPT. Works as expected with the Victron app. I'm also using this with connectivity via an ESP32 to Home Assistant. The connector is a little large into the bottom of the MPPT so if you have lots of cables nearby you may have to re-route them as it would be easy to damage the connector if there's too much pressure on the connector.

If you have an older victron mppt without Bluetooth this is an essential addition.Plugged into my 150/70 mppt it promptly updated firmware and then showed the solar system charging conditions using the app from victron.All features of the mppt become available from Amperage charging rates to voltage controls for all stages of battery charging.Historic solar records are kept on a daily basis (via the app) along with on the spot changeable variables shown such as solar voltage, wattage, solar amperage, battery charge amperage, voltage, wattage etc.Brilliant Bluetooth addition for your solar or charging setup.Essential for monitoring systems and ensuring no overloads.

No issues connecting to my Victron unit andsetting up the software on my phone and getting connected. It now means that I don't have to go into the back of the van and look in the cupboard to see if the battery is being charged and at what phase. A bonus is that it also tells me the condition of the leisure battery.Has a transmit distance of around 20 to 30 feet (sorry, I old school).Screen shots are from my phone taken when connected to van 20 feet away.I wouldn't say it's an essential item, but for me, I feel it's an essential item and I don't know how I lived without one

I liked that there is clear instructions provided. Temperature and Voltage values are added to the Bluetooth Network App. Although the voltage is already given in the solar charger information, which on my set up is the same.So for me the only thing it brings to the party on my set up is the temperature reading.It would be better if there was a battery charger % indication, which I was hoping for. I guess Victorian want me to spend even more money to get that.

Works Great ! Also prompted a SW update on this device as well as the inverter . You must remember to have the Inverter in full power mode marked with two lines otherwise the Bluetooth doesn't power up .
