I am not what I would call a technical person but this drone was pretty easy to lear to fly. The good news is this drone warns you if you fly near other objects and also it avoids things like tree limbs.

This drone is amazing. can't say enough about it. very well rounded and easy enough for first timers to control. Don't make the mistake most of us did and buy cheap garbage drones first. you wont regret it. Some other reviewer left a one star review saying theirs didn't work straight out of the box. Why wouldnt you just return/exchange it. amazon and DJI customer service are both amazing to deal with.

I was and am so disappointed with this purchase. It didnt work straight out the box.On my first flight in the first 2 mins i am getting sensor errors ( forward sensor error ).I am not getting any support from DJI and not finding much material online to rectify the problem.A drone this expensive and highly rated should not have these issues and lack of support.I bought this to film my daughter's wedding and i had hire someone to film, causing me additional expense and now i have a very expensive kite.

I urge any and all persons thinking of purchasing anything with the DJI branding, to read the free forums at DJI's website, ***before*** you make a DJI purchase.The Drone itself --can and will crash itself while under 'Return To Home' (RTH); even more possible at night. It can crash into large obstacles, such as trees and building, without the help of wind. The RC may go 'dead' and not power-on, even though its battery is fully charged. When this happens, the RC will not provide any sort of feedback about battery status, and/or --will not allow you to try and charge the battery further; just in case you had doubts about the previous charge not being full.Dead means dead. I have personally experienced the above two issues with more than one Mavic 3 Classic. Please save yourself a lot of grief, read both the free DJI forums *and* the Mavic 3 manual ***before*** you purchase. Lots of other people are having the same issues and more; lots of undocumented caveats.Consider yourself notified.
