superb grinder which can be set to grind your coffee at precisely the right grade
Fabulous grinder, it is easy to use and can grind enough coffee beans at one time to make two full espressos.as a more mature coffee addict I appreciate the arm and shoulder workout with the grind. No electrical power required.

Almost perfect grinder
Works really well, feels well build. My only issue with it is that the handle doesn’t stay. A magnet would soil be the problem!

One of the best manual coffee grinders I’ve used
Pros:High qualityAttractive lookingRobust constructionMultiple grind settingsEasily adjustableQuick and effectiveCleverly designed handle & lidCons:Loose metal burr from manufacturing process found inside grinderI like to grind my own coffee but don’t really have the spare space nor money for a decent electric grinder. Therefore, I have been using a number of different manual grinders for some years now. This stainless-steel burr grinder from Wacaco, is an attractive design and looks and feels like a quality and robust product. It is also one of the best that I have used. It evenly ground the quantity required to fill my espresso portafilter in just one minute, significantly quicker than my next best manual grinder.Selecting the fineness of grind required is easy. You detach the grinds container and then whilst holding the handle, twist the adjustment nob clockwise fully back to the ‘starting point’. Whilst still holding the handle you then turn the knob back anti-clockwise the number of clicks recommended for the type of grind required.I found that 18 clicks gave me the fineness of grind I required to make a good espresso whilst 42 clocks produced the coarseness better suited to a Cafetière/French Press. In both cases a nice consistent grind was produced.Although the instruction manual doesn’t mention it, you can easily disassemble the grinder to enable you to clean the grinding burrs and remove any stale oils and grinds which build up over time and can taint the taste of your coffee. This you do by twisting the adjustment knob fully anti-clockwise until it comes off the thread on its spindle. You can then carefully remove the component parts of the grinding mechanism and clean them before reassembling in the reverse order. It its whilst I was dissembling the grinding mechanism that a loose piece of metal burr, which had clearly been produced during the manufacturing process, fell out. This is probably quite a rare occurrence and is the only negative point that I could identify with the grinder. The grinder comes with a travel bag and cleaning brush. In a clever piece of design, the handle/lid fitting reverses so that the handle hangs neatly and tightly down the side of the body for ease of storage/transportation. When in use, the lid is transparent which enables you to monitor how many beans are still in the hopper. In conclusion, if you need a manual coffee grinder then I can highly recommend this one from Wacaco.Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you found it useful.

Excellent grinder…
Very handy coffee bean grinder. Mainly stainless steel with a few other non steel parts. Ideal for doing 20g of beans at a time and a fresh coffee. It’s very well made. Comes with full instructions and is very simple to use. I had to adjust the burr setting as it is set to very fine. Very easy to adjust and you can have quite a coarse ground by turning the burr anti clockwise. The grinding parts look sharp and do the job. The box it comes in keeps it all very neat and you also have a bag with a string closure so you have options. The grinder is perfect for home use and looks very good whilst being functional which is what you want. Very happy and have used it twice in the first day. No pricing quoted at the current time.
