I waited a few months to see if they continued working before giving them a review since I was going to leave them outside all summer. Sometimes things don't hold up well that claim to be safe to use outside when you have 90 degree weather and high altitude -Amazingly enough these still give off a fantastic and are super bright! You can still see them through frosted wine bottles and with my porch light on you can still tell that they are glowing!I would buy them again. Thus far I've tried them in 4 styles of wine bottles and although they don't fit snugly they still fit.

Looks nice.
Kinda neat.... fairy light strings look cool in bottles. Only problem is the plastic "cork". The solar part works great (and has an on/off switch), but the actual cork is too big/wide for most wine-type bottles. It is not flexible(hard plastic), so it can't be forced into the bottle a bit to hold it. Cork has to be glued in or taped on. Still a neat product... hopefully they can make the cork out of a more flexible plastic.

Cork light
I had some old bottles and the 'corks' work with them. I have four of them out on my deck and they look so pretty at night. We haven't had any rain since I started using them, and because the hard plastic 'corks' don't conform to the bottle top, I'm sure I will be emptying the bottles occasionally. That shouldn't be a problem and I won't mind because they are really nice! I may buy some more.

I bought these for a party and to have for back yard ambiance.Pros: Here in Northern CA with 14 hours of sunlight, they come on around 9 pm and are still lit when I wake up around 5am Wire is strong and easy to thread into bottles Lights are bright enough for darker bottles Night/day sensor means you can put bottles in hard to reach places in the 'on'' position and just let them do their thing Priced wellCons: As mentioned in other reviews, the 'corks' are hard plastic and just kind of sit in the bottle opening- they don't seal in so rain in bottles will happen Wish they had a few more LEDs per strandOverall very pleased- I'll be buying more as I love the look.

Don't bother
These were very pretty and 5 of the 6 lit up nicely. However none of them have lasted very long. Another problem is they do not fit tightly into the neck of the bottle and moisture gets in. Too bad, they could be a nice decorative addition.

These are awesome! I've had some decorative bottles around the patio & in planters as sun catchers. Adding these lights are a perfect touch. Solar charged during the day & automatically turn on when it's dark. They're bright, but not too bright - great ambiance.

Great ambient lights on the patio.
I placed these in wine bottles in a wine rack on my patio. The subtle lights add a cozy ambiance to my patio. A minor problem was that they are hard plastic corks so I had to add a dab of hot glue to keep them from falling out of the wine bottles.

wine cork solar lights
Out of the 6 ~ 5 work. I like the lights wish there were a few more on the string but they are nice. They don't fit tight on the bottle but they stay put pretty well.
