How do you put the batteries in?

Aim the green power button toward the tv. Turn the remote upside down so the green power is facing the floor. On the rear of the remote cover at the bottom there are two lines and an arrow which indicate which way the cover slides.Gripping the sides of the remote with one hand slide the bottom cover toward you. The bottom cover should come off (being new its a bit stiff). This will reveal the battery compartment. After inserting the batteries refit the bottom cover and with your thumb on the bottom of the exposed cover reslide it back into place.

It works

Excellent and actually works all the buttons too. Replacement for my 10 year old Sony braving tv. I was apprehensive at first and thought it wouldn't work. All you need to do it put batteries in and works automatically with tv. No need to reprogramme etc. It's worth the buy would highly recommend

Good replacement

We broke our Sony remote it’s. A good replacement decent voice control and replacement value isn’t bad it’s easy to use and is pretty much the same to use in functionality basis compared to the original one we got with our tv. The feel of the remote controls is good and functionality wise it has all the same stuff as our old remote.

An almost like-for-like replacement of the original Sony remote

The quality is very good, it doesn't feel or look cheap (although it is cheap compared to the original Sony model). It works straight out of the box (once a battery has been fitted), no need to sync or pair with your TV.The only issue I had was that the Apps button didn't work however a workaround is to get to the Apps screen from the Home screen. I did inadvertently buy another Sony replacement remote and the Apps button on that didn't work either.Overall, a great replacement remote control.
